That was so crazy… I’m starting to wonder about that guy now. Up until now he was just geeky and helpful, but maybe the fact that he bought the hand and kept it means he’s up to something.

I hope Batista’s sister doesn’t get killed next epi

I kind of got the feeling that the guy was too interested in Dexter from the start… Maybe he’s a Brian copycat? Did he ever look at Debra funny? Don’t know… I thought maybe he wants to do the whole “date the sister, then kill her” thing, just with whatever the hell Batista’s sis is called.

Or maybe he just wants to beat Dex’ investigative skills.

lol Yeah he was, wasn’t he…

I forgot about that. He is totally all up on Dex for some reason. An Ice Truck Killer copycat would be awesome! If the writers haven’t thought of that yet, then they should.

dang. Masuka has the worst luck with lab assistants… oi… Maybe the current one and that hot blonde that stole the hand are in it together somehow.

personally, rita is a tad long in the tooth for my taste.

Maybe they do have something in common, the blondie and geek must be partners, we need more Masuka!

The first clue that tipped me off to Gellar being imaginary was when he and Travis were in the restaurant together. The waitress speaks to Travis, and doesn’t even acknowledge the existence of Gellar, despite interrupting their conversation. After that, I just sort of kept it in the back of my mind that this would be the likely direction they’d take the character.

And yes, the only people that knew on set were Michael C. Hall and the writers. Edward James Olmos didn’t even know about his characters true story until the filming of that episode.

As far as Louis the lab geek, they have a few options they can go with them. I fully expect his “video game” to be about a serial killer who works within the police department, revealing that he’s discovered Dexter’s secret and setting up the plot for the next season. I’ve heard the writers are attempting to put together a 3 season arc to close the series, and this may be it.

So they can either get extremely creative and tie everything together (some are speculating that he is the son of Brian Moser aka The Ice Truck Killer). MAsuka’s original intern (the hot blonde) is also listed on the cast for the remaining episodes this season, so perhaps those two will be in cahoots.

My big theory for the remaining seasons of Dexter…Matthews has known about Dexter all along as Harry let him know a long time ago what he was doing with Dexter. [/quote]

I don’t see that lab geek being any threat at all to dexter. dexter will gut him like a fish, the moment, he realizes this lab geek poses any threat of all. remember the #1 rule in his code: Never Get Caught. and dexter can be one ruthless son of a bitch.

Curious, What is everyones best guestimate of how many people Dexter has killed. His original box with all the files, which was totally full, was destroyed by dokes, I beleive, now he has another one, thats getting full. well, that one was messed up now as well, lol. My guess is close to 100 or more people. hes been killing since he was a teenager.

Not really sure how he can use that hand to get to Dexter. Its simply a victim of his brothers. Has nothing to do with dexter.

Maybe he’s dating the blond and they go around trying to steal body parts out of evidence and then belong to a cult and they have sex with the body parts! or use them as "offering’ to the devil?

I do remember the premise for this season was something along the lines of a cult and several killers

Stupid show.

Maybe four.

If Dexter was black, he’d absolutely love the show. Of course, if Dexter was black he would have been caught in the very first episode or at the very least been profiled at the end of every episode…

Yeah Miguel. That season was far more dramatic than any so far, imo. You never really knew what to expect, other than miguel dying at some point of course.

Multiple storylines, nemesis, dangers of exposure… Definitely the most intense season. The first is a close second. Lumen was cheesy. Trinity Killer was pretty good. Hell the ice truck was only cool bc it was his brother, the drama and writing around that fact weren’t fantastic.

I really hope they are creative with the ice truck hand.

Masuka is loosely tied to Dexters killings vicariously now, could get very interesting as any sort of recovery/discovery would have to be kept hidden.

I totally think Deb will find out at some point too, especially after her counseling session detailing all the men in her life. The shrink is eventually going to dig something out of her memory that won’t sit right and we know she’s bullish and nosy.

I would love to see multiple twists again like the miguel season.

Glad they shipped off Astor. Another season of her acting like a cuntish teenage twat would’ve been unbearable.

blacks aren’t serial killers, actually why is that?
