Maybe four years ago, when everyone was in love with her. McCain doesn’t need to be saddled with this administration’s baggage any more than he already is.
If he can set aside his personal differences and pick Romney I think McCain may actually win this election.

She is, oddly enough for an academic, a very poor public speaker. She sounds nervous.
While that could sound superficial, no one wants for President – and a Vice President could become President particularly with a 72 year old candidate – a leader who sounds nervous whenever addressing the nation.
She has qualifications as an administrator – while in contrast Obama has never been in charge of or run a single thing in his life other than his own election campaigns, and it seems odd that the first thing a person would aspire to run in their life is the entire executive branch of the US government –
and is knowledgeable of foreign affairs but really has not won over any great number of the general public with her performance as Secretary of State.
On Hillary as vice-president on a Republican ticket: this seems to be ignoring that, while not a positive thing to think about, McCain might die in office and the possibility of that is the only reason we even have a Vice President.
And few Republican voters actually want Hillary as President, if for no reasons other than taxes and Supreme Court justice nominations.

Anyway, why is everybody assuming she would accept? Surely she wouldn’t and McCain would look even more foolish.
There’s rumors afloat that say McCain will announce his running mate as Barry is walking out of his temple to accept his crown.
