Should I Split My Testosterone Dose?

I’m new to TRT. I was initially prescribed Sustanon 250mg one a week and proviron 2x25mg every day (1 morning, 1 night).

After my 6 week blood tests and a chat with my doctor we decided to go with Sustanon 250mg every 9 days as my test levels were at the high end.
My doctor is against splitting the dose, I got this from our first discussions so I didn’t bring the subject up this time.

I want to go against my doctors wishes and split the 250mg in 3 and take it every 3 days which seems perfect to me.

What do you guys think?

I also asked him about my prolactin and he said it often raises when in the early stages of TRT. We will do another test in 5 weeks.

Your SHBG at that level means you need 1-2 shots a week, max.

Your TT will go higher with splitting shots also, be aware of that. Its essentially increasing your dose. (even though you are using the same amount)

Splitting it should lower your estradoil which is looking borderline high and be more effective for you in the long run.

Estrogen by our measurements is 42 pg/mL for a reference, slightly over the ranges. Your Free T is 3.82 %, 2-3 percent is considered normal. I suggest lower the dosage a little and E2 should drop into reference ranges.

You require less testosterone to reach similar levels injecting smaller doses more frequently, so splitting the injections up three ways will cause your levels to shoot way too high. Splitting up injections 3 ways is pointless given your excellent SHBG levels, injections once weekly or twice weekly is the optimal choice for sustanon. It’s not like estrogen is a major problem.

Thanks for all your replies. After reading the replies I think I’ll split the 250mg in half and take it every 4.5 days.
