Sweetheart, I don’t ever remember you being short tempered. Why did you start this post?

Smooooooch.

hahaha!

I appreciate the selective amnesia

I am actually wondering if it is a vitamin deficiency though… could it be?

I’ve been under stress, but I do work out so I dunnoooooo

I probably just need more coffee

It sounds a lot like a lack of vitamin DB. A lot of women suffer from this ailment. The only cure is by a DB injection.

DB

yah but last time that left me with a sore throat!

No you have it all wrong, you need a Shire injection i’m chocolate flavoured too.

Do you ever go through times when you are very short tempered and something just sets you off and then afterwards you wonder, “what was that about?”

I have been like that on and off for a while.

The crazy thing is, early this year things were bad due to work, health, and family problems. Now things are better and NOW I get in bad mood funks.

although I do have somethings on my mind now

But what is the deal with that? Things calm down and that is when I go psycho? Is it because you get used to the drama or is it because then you feel okay enough to let go and let it out?

and so what is the cure? I’ll take all suggestions from chemistry to cardio.

and I am sure all the folks around me and who have had to experience my bad behavior will appreciate any suggestions that improve this situation!
Menopause maybe?

'Nuff said.

alot of posts in this thread since only this morning, shows people care.

I agree with the punch bag therapy, works for me

It’s ok, I’m psychologically unstable too. I don’t trust people who are happy all the time.

I think these happy people are secret pillow biters and plan to blow up the world.
NO IM NOT!!!

I mean you have a wonderful day

wait a minute… so I have to acknowledge other folks have bad days and short tempers sometimes too?

DAMMIT…

but still… I appreciated the list of coping mechanisms and will get somethings checked

so far… I haven’t bitten the head off a chicken today

Take a half hour long cold shower and go stand in the back yard naked for 6 hours.

It won’'t fix your problem, but it will give you pneumonia, and I’m pretty sure Doctors can fix that.

Mak… I live in San Diego… it might get a little nippy but there are no arctic breezes!

I did take a long hot girly bath today though, that was good

Now I just need a NZ punching bag

And I’ll volunteer to be that bag.

LOL

I dont see anything unusual about your behavior OG.I grew up in a household with 3 females and they were always flying off the handle at even the smallest things.

Fast foward to now where i live with 2 females.one is 26 the other is 3 years old and they both fly off the handle and get angry as easy as each other.

But i did notice my wife was acting alot like your “symptoms” before we found out she was pregnant??

Maybe if you have your lil one night stand with Vic Mackey, it will get rid of all those frustrations.

I am betting it would!

For me, how I deal with my short temper is that I end up listening to music, or if I can, watch a movie or TV show.

The best thing I learned a long time ago in dealing with my short fuse is letting things that I cannot change or control GO.

It helps my stress and helps me focusing on moving forward.
