I’m pretty happy, but it wasn’t a wish on you, why would I waste my time worrying over somebody I dont know? Your country is pretty bad when it comes to relationships and marriage, why invest into a system that favours women over men?

Her parents are here right now from Brazil moving into their newest vacation home so we had a big dinner with both parents and my sister. Funny part was everyone knew it was coming already so they were all like cheering me on and of course blasted the pic of me on one knee all over facebook.
Here is a pic of how the ring came out from her IG account, was the best pic of it. It ended up being a tiny bit loose but she wont take it off to let me get it resized. Overall it was a big success. Thanks everyone who helped with some great info.
On the subject of people who berate relationships/marriage, it is just like everything else in life. People who have good ones will gladly talk about how good it is. People who have bad ones or in the past had bad ones or never thing they will have a good one will spend their energy saying how bad they are. We are all victims of our own self serving bias.
Just like all forms of success in life, be it financial, physical, spiritual etc, there will always be more cases of people failing or never succeeding than those who have. Why cant the same apply to marraige and love? When the fuck did chivalry go out of stye? When I see a mysogynist I just see an emotional hipster who secretly wants to be cuddled.
