Shooting the Koran - Good or Bad?

We’ll stop policing the world when you children stop misbehaving. What a bunch of non-logically thinking bitches. Why can’t these nutjob terrorists just RELAX.

If I were living in some sand-covered shithole ruled by a dictator and the U.S. came and captured him and blew shit up, and some nutjob asked me if I wanted to become a suicide bomber, I’d be like: “No thanks!” Then I’d try to figure out a way to leave my sand-covered shithole and move somewhere nice…like the U.S. Although Europe would probably be easier for starters. Either way I’d eventually retire on a beach and get drunk looking at bikini chicks. And bang them if I was still young enough or whatever.

Am I off base here?
Thing is, some of them actually love their country. In fact, I’ve seen a few people from “sand-covered shitholes” go crazy everytime somebody waived the Flag. So, yeah, you’re quite off base.

And would you people quit sneakily editing your posts. It’s getting tiresome to have to call you out on edits.

I don’t think he’s off base. The US may not be in there for the honorable reason, but the astounding amount of human rights abuses somewhat blunts my sympathy for Iraq/Afghanistan/Whoever is next.

You know where to put your “sympathy”.

This is actually ingenious!
Thank you. I have my moments.

What is this? Botanics? Musical instrument?
Lixy has successfully bred unnecessary ill-will and distrust on the part of the infidels toward Muslims!

You’ve got to admit; it’s a pretty smart strategy.
Now you’re just sounding dumb. Get back to me when you sober up.

I think I edited “hell fucking no” into “No thanks” because I realized it would be smarter not to mouth off to some nutjob sand shithole lover when he’s recruiting me to be a suicide bomber.

Concrete and fresh example of why US troops should leave Iraq ASAP. Apologizing for a soldier shooting at a book (however how Holy) is one thing. Expecting people to forgive the murder of defenseless women and children is plain stupid.

US strike ‘kills Iraqi civilians’

Of course nothing is said when terrorists kill and behead contractors, you know, the ones trying to rebuild the country.

What do you guys think?
I’m against shooting the Koran, unless it’s over 300 yards. I mean these guys are pros and under that distance it’s a little close.

These people would kill for a book?

Isn’t belief in God more than just these things?

It appears there’s no sixth commandment in Islam. Neither is there a Golden Rule, nor a concept of the universal neighborhood of man.

Yeah, they cut heads off people that’s ok, but crap, don’t shoot at their holy book! They might get pissed then.

Give me a break.
These are the same holy nit whits that allowed 15 young women to die in Saudi Arabia when their school was on fire, because allowing them to come out when they were not properly attired was against their religion.

So they let them burn to death. I don’t give a crap if they shoot at Korans, but he should be disciplined if he did go against orders. The military isn’t a democracy or a union.

Now, rubbing our bullets on bacon would be just fine by me.

I don’t understand why we don’t fight fire with fire.

Here’s another Arab story, a friend of mine was in the CIA for years. He’s old now , but had some great stories.

One was how all the Sheik types loved the “lemonade” and “chicken” that was served at an embassy dinner. Yeah, the hypocrites new they were eating pork and drinking alcohol. It’s okay for the elite, but to control the masses, the common folk must follow the rules.

Could it be that Satan saw how God created a religion of peace, and decided to somehow get his own thing going, just a little ways south?

Islam may not be an invention of Satan but some practioners sure act like it.

Seriously though, we have to understand the frustrations when soldier are not allowed to win. Instead of watching your friends die/be maimed by bombs made in Iran, and not being allowed to crush the Iraqi scum, they have to be ‘nice’. So, they’re frustrated.

It is overwhelmingly ironic that you have 1984 as your avatar.
Perhaps you did not understand the book, it is not supposed to be the blueprint for your ideal government.

True freedom lies in completely giving up your individual identity and becoming one with the State. An individual always dies, but the Party/State is immortal. This is the overwhelming drive of humanity — to overcome their individual limitations by becoming One with something immortal.

Most can’t do that with God anymore (as Nietzsche points out: God is dead, in the sense that men can’t escape individuality anymore through religion). So, they create all-powerful governments, like the Nazis and the Communists. Those systems are simply preliminary:

The kinks have to be worked out. The final version of complete totalitarianism is being developed at breakneck speed as we write.

Television sets will work in reverse. You will be chipped. You can and will be continually traced in all your economic activity. The era of privacy is over.

The trick is to embrace it, become one with it. Whether you surrender to God or society, you are free only when you identify with one of those.

Have a nice day!
