Yeah it’s a good starting point. If my true max is close to the estimated I would be stoked. Now I just 13+ reps on the 3+ week haha.
I’m a bit disappointed at how the front squats look on camera. I assure you they were way more horrible than they look.

I’m quite exited for tomorrow as well. Before the last set of deads I was getting really nervous since I said to myself that I wanted 13+ reps. I never had that feeling during Sheiko.

I need 12+ reps on the bench tomorrow. That would get me a estimated max over 110 kg which is kinda how I decide what my daily goals are. Today I needed 13+ to get an estimated max over 200 kg.

Very pleased with the bench today. I was a bit over eager though so the first reps weren’t that pretty (didn’t touch the chest on the 2nd rep).
The DB presses were so so. It was the most I’ve ever pressed but the DB’s were all over the place. This will hopefully increase fast with a little practice.
I played a bit around with the form on the rows to see what I liked the best. I think I’m gonna go with a pendlay-ish form (without touching the floor)
The PJRs will take a bit of practice as well but they hit the inner part of the tricep pretty good.

Your 5/3/1 is going how I always predict mine will, but never quite live up to! Nice reps so far… as I said before your on for many cycles without stagnation if this starts anything to go by.

Combination of technique (working/worked on this though) and perhaps my muscle fibre distribution. The latter being why 5/3/1 perhaps works really well for some whilst others hit great rep PRs but it doesn’t really translate. At least that’s the only problem I see people having with 5/3/1.

As long as I progress it won’t matter that much if it doesn’t directly affect my 1RM. Especially since I’m probably not gonna do the planned meet, as the exams aren’t over at that time.

My hamstrings and abs were still were sore from Monday so I keep falling forwards and I had no power out of the hole.
Leg Presses sucked as well. It’s really been a long time since I’ve done “high” reps and I could feel that.
Back in October I did 5x20 with the same weight and a 1 minute pause between sets so I was very disappointed.
Didn’t want to do anything more after these two exercises so I left.

Appreciate the form comment, although I wasn’t completely pleased with the form. That was probably partly because I haven’t squatted for over a week. Didn’t feel very comfortable under the bar today.
