Seven-Year-Old Single Ladies

after seeing that link I’m almost ok with it… I think some of the moves are a little too ridiculous but meh… who am I to judge.

Well that was weird. There was some good stuff reminiscent of ballet which is what they should be doing but then all this suggestive and totally ungrafecul shaking and jerking about. Did women start to dance like strippers around the same time that men took to hip hop and just generally started embracing non-white ghetto culture? I guess it makes sense.

I am actually pretty impressed and i don’t see anything wrong with it. They are good dancers and it must have taken a very strong work ethic for people of such little mental capacity to learn those moves. If you don’t view it in a sexual way, then it is not sexual. that is all there is to it.

Now comparing this to child beauty pageants, i think is a little off. Those kids and parents are crazy, but i didn’t get the same vibe from this video.

The costume is a little much for me. I would want a one piece.

Those girls are on a fast track to professional dancing careers assuming they don’t buckle under the strain. I don’t know too many 2nd graders that are driven enough to put together a routine that polished and intense. I’m assuming there is a lot of parental pressure here.

just dont let SickAbs in here…

wow. what’s next? 5 year olds free stylin’ like Busta Rhymes?

Haha Make it clap. (nevermind gross)

So, there are 7 year olds who are dancing to music they don’t understand? So, you’re tellin’ me that there are 7 year old girls dancing to a hip hop beat? So, what’s the problem again? I didn’t see one of those girls snort coke off any of the other ones. They’re dancers. That’s what they do. They dance. It’s a hip hop dance not a ballet.

If they were doing that shit with Tchaikovsky in the back round I might say it’s a little over the top, but they weren’t. They were dancing to Beyonce. At a recital. A local recital. With their parents and families in the crowd. Cheering them on. Because they were dancing. Their fathers were there. Watching them dance.

What’s next, an outrage that a 6 year old is wearing a bikini in July at the beach playing in the sand? Really? Some of you guys have way too much time on your hands.

I mean, it’s a little weird (especially some of the “ass shaking” ((7 year olds don’t have asses right?)) ) and provocative, but they were all pretty good dancers and overall, that was pretty impressive.

Pretty young though…

Reminds me of the pageant scene in “Little Miss Sunshine”.

As opposed to embracing WHITE ghetto culture? You’re a friendless, sexless, brainless joke. That’s all I have to say. No need to respond. I am not even going to come back to this thread. The fact that you posted in it lets me know it’s going to turn into a clusterfuck of whiny morons who have nothing to do but bitch and complain about whatever imagined slight tickles their fancy at that particular moment.

Only a matter of time /b/efore you showed up.

Don’t think I’ll be watching that…

Pedo meter aside, these girls have that routine down to the fuckin’ letter.

I’m impressed that they are able to do that at that age…

wait where’s all the seven year old single ladies?

this thread is false advertisement.

I’m a kindergarten teacher and we have to arrange a 15 minute dance show for the kids…it’s a lot of hard work and practice and my kids aren’t near as coordinated as these girls. So I’d say I’m impressed from the perspective of how they all do their moves at the same time and with precision, but yeah, the outfits are too weird.

I’ll post a video of my team dancing to The Beach Boy’s “Be True to Your School” when I can. It’s cute.

I felt very uncomfortable watching that…skanky 7 year olds =S. I think the moves were most inappropriate but
the dancing itself showed talent. Change the costumes and some of the moves and I would of liked it.

I think the way our culture is developing is so freakin ridiculous. I mean its morphed from innocent childhood into blowjobs in the middle school bathrooms and the pego girls club at 14.

When are we going to stop and think Wtf? I woke up this morning to cartoon network (king of the hill was on last night) and in 5 minutes saw several things on a preteen tv show that would of been outrageous when I was 10. I’m only 19. At this rate we will have special sex rooms at school because kids do it in the bathrooms so often.
