Has anyone seen any funny movies/t.v shows lately, seems like all these new comedy movies coming out are not cutting it. I mean everyone talked about how funny 40 yr old virgin was but I fell asleep while watching it. Same thing with t.v. shows SNL was funny but for last couple of years it has for lack of a better word… sucked.
Jackass 2: All laughs, no romance.
Super Troopers. Not new but a classic.
Crank
Super Troopers.
Office Space.
Strange Brew.
Old School.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
Just off the top of my head.
Wedding Crashers is a good recent one
Clerks 2, I’ve always enjoyed Kevin Smith’s movies.
Plus the classics mentioned above.
the borat movie is the funniest movie i have ever seen, period. i saw it at some weird pre-screening thing, so i don’t think its out yet, but you should be outside queueing when it comes out.
if you enjoyed super troopers you will like beerfest too. its great to get you in the mood for some drinking games. or if you’re watching it at home i guess you could incorporate them.

It comes out in the beginning of November. Every single person who has seen a pre-screening haa told me its the funniest movie they’ve ever seen. I am so pumped.
I didnt care much for the “40 yr old virgin” either.I saw “School for Scoundrals” with a friend last weekend and we couldnt stop laughing.I’m going to see that Dane Cook and Jesica Simpson movie tomorrow after I lift.
I went and saw “Little Miss Sunshine” a few weeks ago. Hilarious. Very unique and zany (yes I just said zany) movie, but very well done and intelligently funny.
One other one that I watched on dvd not too long ago that was surprisingly funny was “The Benchwarmers.”
employee of the month…yeah it looks like it is going to be funny but you never know, previews always show like the 2-3 best parts in the movie.
“Taladega Nights” Is Pure Gold!
Anchorman
Napoleon Dynamite

I second this.
However, I also know people who said it’s the most unfunny movie they’ve ever seen. FOOLS!
And if you havn’t seen the Austin Powers movie series… you better do it now, or burn your eyes out, cuz they useless!

You didnt laugh at 40 Year Old Virgin but laughed at School for Scoundrels? How old are you, 11? 40 was MUCH funnier than SFS. I laughed maybe 3 times during SFC.

well I did not think either of those was funny I think the guy who plays napolean is not funny…now anchorman, wedding crashers, taladega nights those were some funy movies. As for t.v shows have not seen to many funny ones lately but I can never get enough of all the seinfeld re-runs.
