So here’s the deal, I came off a 12 week cycle of test/mast in mid october of 2013. After doing a month of PCT, I got my bloods done and sure enough LH/FSH were through the roof thanks to the clomid + nolva. (LH was like 21.7 and FSH was 16.3, total test was 644 ng/dl).
Anyway, i decided to wait a couple months and let the serm’s clear my system before i got checked again, and just got my bloods back today. LH/FSH are normal, but my test is on the low end, 376 ng/dl. Based off this, it looks like my hypo-t and pituitary have recovered nicely, but my testes might need another jolt? I was thinking of a 3 month, low dose pct of clomid or nolva to see if that can get my testes used to producing more test again. Anyone ever try this with success? Thanks.
I did a second PCT about 9 months after a cycle of HDrol. Did about 4-5 weeks of clomid. It definitely did help, unfortunately I never got blood work done to confirm this. You could always do HCG along with the Clomid and Nolva, to possibly get your testes to respond to the serms a little better. I would look into the HCG a little more though, as some say HCG is surpressive, which it is. But it may be worth looking into to add into your second PCT. I would say go for it, or just do what I did and start another cycle. Because odds are you’re going to be on and off for life now. Its part of the risk we take, unfortunately
Well i’m not sure if hcg makes sense though considering that while on serms i can get at LEAST 644 ng/dl. Can hcg permanently increase the output capacity of the testes?
Im honestly not sure on that. I have seen articles on other forums where another individual was having problems and decided to do a second PCT. The PCT that he did was actually put together by a doctor, and was claimed to work very well. Whether your levels stay up permanently it did not say, but it did improve the guys levels. I guess you would have to get blood work done to find out. I tried finding that article awhile ago, but I cant seem to find it anymore. Which is a drag, it was a very good read.

What were your ranges pre cycle? Did you have bloods done before steroids? How do you feel? If your LH and FSH are within range then the balls are working ok. If you feel fine and have no pre cycle levels then just carry on as you are. Add in some vitamin D3 and ZMA for luck. Adding in more drugs and knocking the hormones off balance again might not be the best option.
Ok so you’re not that much lower than you were. I’d personally just let things settle for a month or two and check again. Add in the vitamin D3 at 5000ius a day as that can help raise test levels.
If you feel fine then just hang in there. Next cycle run HCG at 1000ius per week up till PCT and recovery will be a lot easier.
If things go down hill then you can do a power PCT.
