Well times have changes. Young cats today DO wake up wondering if they have to kill someone that day. I’d be interested to know the outcome of the kids that participated in the program.

No idea what happened to the kids who participated in that particular movie, but studies have shown that “Scared Straight” type programs actually increase the likelihood that the participants will commit criminal offenses by as much as 60 or 70 percent relative to a control group that received no such “deterrent intervention”.

The recidivism rate of the original two casts was less than 10%.
