Some parts were funny, but overall it was really a letdown. Nowhere near as funny as Borat.
My biggest let down was that half the movie was pre-scripted scenes. Like the Ron Paul scene was SOOOOOO funny. If he had done more stuff like that and Paula Abdul this movie would have been great. Instead they had a bunch of dumb scripted scenes. And definitely could have been without the massive amount of penis in the film. But holy crap the Ron Paul scene was amazing.

The movie was about a gay 19 year old GAY Austrian who wanted to be the next biggest celbrity since Hitler, and the biggest Gay Celeb since Schwarzenegger. I don’t know what could be funnier.
I thought the scene where he went to the psychic and gave (Can’t even remember the guys name), spirit a blow and rim job was so fucking funny. Also the whole hotel scene where him and his Gay assistant are strapped together with every homosexual toy there was and how he wanted to hotel manager to change the channel on the TV and the remote was up his ass, also had me dying.
Overall hilarious< I think it’s dumb to go into that movie not knowing it was going to be extremely gay. The fact that everyone is so oblivious to Sacha being a fraud is the, true comedy in these films and I think it’s great.

Yeah the phychic scene was hilarious, that guy didnt even crack a smile while he was doing all that. then the scenes with Diesel were pretty funny too. As a straight guy I was pretty grossed out some of the time, but I couldnt quit laughing through the whole movie. I thought that the ending sucked though. With Borat there was a better story line and better ending. I think that they had to edit alot of the scenes out due to lawsuits or latoya jackson interviews. i think that you will either love it or hate it.
Bruno is on Howard right now and he’s hilarious. Based off of this interview I might see the movie and I previously had 0 interest.
Look, my point about the movie has really little to do with homosexuality itself, and more to do with the fact that there was no DIVERSITY in the comedy. It was ALL centered around him being gay. I am being truly honest when I say that I really didn’t know it would be COMPLETELY about that alone. If it was going to be like that, what’s the point of him being from another country? I thought that he was just going to be some weird, culturally ignorant Austrian guy and I think they could’ve done more with that.

My thoughts exactly.

the entire show is centered around him being gay and tricking people into saying gay things without realizing it. and also making people look like total idiots for their (often extreme) beliefs.
im just saying if you saw the show youd know what to expect. you could have googled Bruno and saved yourself 10 bucks and 2 hrs of time

He was a weird, culturally ignorant Austrian guy…that just happened to be gay. Sounds like the “gayness” of the movie kept you from seeing the jokes about other cultures, lifestyles, and modern issues.
You disappointed yourself because you expected this to be “Borat 2.” There is no excuse to be “in the dark” about a movie with the overkill that is called advertising these days.
It had its moments, I cracked up when he was interviewing the parents for the baby picture. Overall though I didn’t think it was worth admission.

A large percentage of people think sticking another guys dick in your ass to be extreme too… Damn ignorant bigot homophobes.

extreme or X-Treme?
How do you not get what the movie is going to be like by just looking at the poster?
Seriously, how retarded can you get?

No, see I wasn’t even planning on seeing the movie and had heard very little about it. I work at a movie theater, so I can get in for free, but I only work a couple days a week so I hadn’t heard much about it. I went to see it at the last minute with another employee and perhaps that is why I knew so little. Still IMO my point stands that the movie had little variety in its jokes.

Wait, you think that I should’ve known what an ENTIRE movie was going to be about from one fucking poster? And I’m retarded?
PS I NEVER said I didn’t think it was going to have…“gay comedy” in it. I simply think it was taken too far in terms of limiting the other types of comedy.
If you saw it for free then what is the big deal?

So you didn’t see the poster. Or any trailers.
