SARMs are growing in popularity, but are they safe and effective? Here's the answer.
It sounds like a good idea: use substances that give you a steroid-like effect without having to use actual steroids. Problem is, at safe dosages, the effects aren't that great, and at higher dosages, the side effects are similar to what you'd get with steroid use.
The Bullet Points
SARMS (selective androgen receptor modulators) are becoming popular because they're not entirely illegal. But they're essentially doing the same things as steroids.
They're somewhat of a gateway to steroids because they're used for the same purpose, but SARMs are less effective.
It's a weak product at the dosages most often recommended.
If you increase the dosage to get the same effects as you would with actual steroids, you may end up experiencing just as many negative side effects.
If you choose to use SARMs, you've already made the decision to seek pharmaceutical help, but you may be let down by the lack of benefits.
I would agree. I never considered taking them due to the lack of knowledge via long term side effects. From what I gather they provide less benefit than actual anabolics with all the same side effects. Plus with anabolics we have decades of evidence to the true risks. IMO, SARMS ā¦ meh.
Iāve never done a lot of things that I have researched but still know about. Make sense? I never said they ādonāt workā.
See āless benefitā not āzero benefitā. There are a lot of anecdotal reports along with minimal research concluding the same.
Iām an engineer and Iāve studied a lot of things Iāve never participated in the manufacturing and design of. Does that mean I donāt know āaboutā them?
Its ok to agree to disagree. We can all have or own opinions.
No, but you said they provide less benefits with the same side effects, thatās simply incorrect. I am not here to argue, I am not pro SARMS or against them, to each his own. I have a great respect for CT and many of his philosophies, but I find this generalization of SARMās to be inaccurate based on my own experience and knowing people who have used them.
To your āstudiedā comment, true, it does not mean you donāt know about things. But I would say that having real world experience is much better than reading/researching about something. My opinion, and you have yours.
