Tell me Irish where were the hardball questions to Obama? He was given so many softball questions that even SNL (a bastion of liberalism) did skits about it. He was given the nomination with no test and then the election in the same manner.
I’m not saying that Palin was the best choice for VP, but she was crucified by the mainstream media. The same media that gave Obama a pass on just about everything. It was sickening to watch. And because the press didn’t do their job we now have the most inexperienced, liberal President in the history of the country.

I’ve noticed that through the years. In fact they hated Bush so much I sort of knew that the pay back would be quite serious (Obama) and I was right.

The press pounded Ronald Reagan after he rested the nomination from Bush (Sr.) in 1980. They called him just about everything they could call a candidate from stupid and illiterate to uneducated. The only difference is with Reagan the people truly loved him and when the press finally realized this they started treating him like his democratic opponent.
By the way why would any of you think that the mainstream media is ever going to give a republican a fair shake? I believe about 80% of them are registered democrats.

I’ve already GIVEN examples in this very thread that you selectively ignored and failed to quote. NAFTA for one. The inability to name a single significant Supreme Court case for another. But that is besides the point. In numerous past thread, innumerable examples have been given. Many by myself. Feel free to dig them up. I don’t want to go through Palin’s lack of qualifcations one MORE time after going through it it detail dozens of times. If you want to idolize Palin that’s your perogative. I don’t care. I don’t think she’s a cunt. But I for one am VERY happy she’s exiting the national stage. And hope she stays gone.

I oppose Palin because of ludicrous policies she would push such as abstinence-only education (which has been proven not to reduce sexual activity among teens but which does decrease the likelihood they will not practice safe sex when they have it). And beccause of what I consider to be a terrible job that she did in Wasila. And a whole host of other issues I think she could not be more wrong on.

I’ve said it before- I do not care what happens to her. I wish nothing on her other than for her to stay the living fuck away from the Presidency. I don’t care what happens to her kids, Michael Jackson’s kids, or OJ’s kids. They’re not my concern or my problem, and have nothing to do with my life. All I know is that her kids tend to be named after farming tools and I think one of her kids got pregnant young or something- I don’t know the story and don’t care.

I didn’t like McCain, but I certainly didn’t hate him. Had he run in 2000 or 2004 I very may well have voted for him because I respect him. However, that thing ruined the ticket, and was an embarrassment to the entire country. I can’t even imagine how badly she would have butchered America’s credibility on the world stage with her ridiculousness.
Once again, I’m not wishing death on her. I wouldn’t even do that to W, or Nixon - I’ve always said I thought W would be be really cool to have as a neighbor, and I respect Tricky Dick for his pure evil that he brought to the White House. The liberal media has had a lot to do with sexing everything up in this counrty. You can’t seem to watch a show without sex being sold, so what should parents do about that? Turn off the tv is all? I though it was comical to have Bristol on the abstenance campaign too.

I have never said that I could have an abortion personally- I don’t think I could. But I support unequivocally that right to choose.
