There is a reason for that, and it’s not the CIA. If that example were valid, which it is laughably not…then the Soviet Union through the KGB would have been able to undermine every capitalist country with their ENORMOUS budgets.
But instead of it working, it failed. They also attempted to prop up Marxist nations, and the only result was having to build walls to KEEP PEOPLE INSIDE TEH UTOPIAZZ.
Envy can be a terrible thing? So can overthrowing another county’s government. So the coup in Chillie never happened? You are so brainwashed it’s embarrassing. You are an embarrassment to this country. A sheep who is in lock-step with the corporate media and their objectives.
Peoples movements are overthrown all the time by the powerful. The world cannot be shown there is any other way. The powerful do not want to give up any power and will do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn’t happen. Murder, assassination and war is not out of the question of the depraved.
Total nonsense. Every single form of Marxism has failed. The Soviet Union is a prime example. Capitalism exists all over the globe right now as we speak. The device you’re typing on exists because of Capitalism.
“In it’s death throes” get real.
What the fuck are you even talking about. Did I say the coup never happened? Real what was quote.
Ya, except that forms of government and economics have changed a whole bunch of times throughout history…
Dude, you can’t even read… Jesus fucking Christ. Why did T-nation get rid of the ignore button?
Serious question, do you have a developmental disorder? Were you dropped repeated as a child? I don’t want to keep making fun of someone that is medically retarded if that’s true in your case.
We literally fought a Revolution against the strongest power in the world, at the time, to show the world that there is a better way. 240 years later we are the sole economic and military superpower in the world.
This is due to the many factors including a revolutionary way of governing coupled with free market capitalism with limited government intervention.
Take one fucking economics and/or American history course, please.
What makes you say this? My international travels have not noticed any type of hate. People might disagree with a few policies or a actions (specifically the Iraq war) but generally pop culture (American TV/movies/music) are extremely popular. A lot of countries look to the USA for defense, funding, aid from natural disasters, and humanitarian efforts.
Edit: Capitalism has helped create the US and other western governments. These governments have lead us to the most successful and peaceful time in the history of humanity. Capitalism is not “crumbling”.
Read what I said more carefully before making a condescending post.
The Republicans have a bigger base that VOTES IN EVERY ELECTION. The Dems may have more registered voters at any given time, but they’re harder to get to the polls in a not presidential year.
Zep I want you to do a little research. Particularly the relationship between progressive social programs coupled with ever growing taxes (socialism) in the United States in the early 20th century, and their affects on income inequality.
You continue to say Capitalism is failing, when for the past century we have been slowly eroding the market freedom we once enjoyed. Capitalism isn’t failing, it has been corrupted.
Oh, you mean how the Marxist Soviet Union overthrew the governments of around 10 countries in Eastern Europe? How they had to build a HUGE FUCKING WALL to keep the people inside their utopia?
Yep, they U.S. no doubt had a hand in Chile, just like the Soviets had a hand in Eastern Germany. The only difference is…wait for it…people literally RISKED THEIR LIVES to get away from Socialism, and escape to the West.
If Marxist Eastern Europe was the ideal economic utopia, why did they have to build a armed wall to keep people inside?
Should the Western powers not have had to build a wall to keep their people from going East?
