this is eight pages of a joke right?

RIGHT?

Cant act.
Isnt even remotely convincing in an athletic role.
30 year old sleeper cell formula plot.
This movie was a joke even with the low expectations I have for any movie which so much as features Jolie in a supporting role.

If we are making suggestions, I thought Doomsday was a pretty bad ass movie with a female lead role. Not a trad. action but good still.
Too bad. You missed the dead line into make the Haters Ball, I’m sure you would have at least got runner up with this haterrific post here.
Well, that sucks. I always wanted to dance with that bitch from The Hills (Theyre all haters right). Plus it would have been awesome to get my award and meet you and Prof. X in person.

Seriously, you watched that movie and said to yourself, “I am really buying that this chick could really whoop on a room full of five trained soldiers.” Or “Huh I definitely dont know the next five things that are going to happen in the exact order they will occur in.”

Go watch TRUE GRIT and put some hair on yours balls.:]

I’m sure you know all about hairy balls as you live in Washington. Yes, a specially trained woman could take down five trained soldiers with her fighting style, she wasn’t boxing dudes and tackling them, she was using their momentum. And, no I wasn’t able to predict the movie like others. I wasn’t expecting her to drop the Russian President, after she did I was guessing (with the spider foreshadow) that the president wasn’t dead. When she had a drop on the black dude, I figured she had defected from Russia and was running with her mission in order to find her husband after FIVE MINUTES OF FORESHADOWING THAT SHE NEEDED TO FIND HER HUSBAND. However, move to move, no it was not predictable. I didn’t see her dropping the president through the floor of the Russian Catholic Cathedral. I didn’t see her dropping the entire barge, I didn’t see her going into the heli with the black dude. I didn’t see that her boss was a KGB agent.
Hairy balls from WA can be trimmed for aesthetics. NO one wants to put your sweaty desert soaked AZ balls in their mouth unless you carry baby wipes around all day for that specific reason. The boss being another agent was a bit of a suprise, but you also know something else is coming, so its not really that big. I did aikido for 10 years. It is one of the major martial art often choreographed into fight scenes like Salt, Bourne movies and Steven Seagal. So I guess maybe I am not aknowleging that the moves dont look as unconvincing to people who are not familiar with them.

Now, in seriousness I will explain a bit better. While I like a crappy action flick, much of my interest in movies goes to things like plot and character dev., actors potrayal of roles, and dialogue. While these are not necessarily gonnA BE focused on in action flicks they can still can and often are included. Salt was not the ExpendABLES. It came across as trying to be a “smart” action movie. Jolie obviously was playing a role where the character had undergone some emotional/ethical changes. We are also led to assume that her actions are being driven by her care and concern for her husband. This is obvious, but at the same time, the actors and the plot do not convey this, shit just happens. And yes, is it so simple and formulatic that you can figure all of this out, definitely. BUt thats the point, I am not trying to sit thru one and a half hours of POINTLESS to get 10-15 minutes of decent action

Edit: Because I almost forgot.
Go Mccain!!!
Go segregation!!!
Go imprisoning people for what amounts to misdemanors in most other states!!!
Go running over people on the freeway til they are unrecognizable!!!

Arizona, what a wondefrul place to raise a family!!!

I just watched it; it’s a commercial film but a good one, it could even have gone on a little longer.
The twist was a little to obvious though.

Saw this a while ago, and I really enjoyed the story. However, even with the stuntwork and the athleticism required, AJ was pretty freakin sickly looking. I know a lot of tiny women, especially with the martial-arts crowd, and they’ll even tell you, a 95lb woman would not do all of that to a bunch of grown ass, trained men. But, I’m able to set aside all of this and enjoy a movie for what it’s worth. I’ll watch this one again, as it was a fun movie.

As for choosing between AJ and JA. I’d go with JA. While I can see the appeal in AJ, she does absolutely nothing for me. To hell with making ME a sammich. Broad needs to make a few for herself! No ass, no meat, no Beast dick.

I just want to have her babies. I love this type of woman.

I watched it a couple weeks ago. Kinda interesting story, not that great of acting, and just generally the cinematography was sub par.
