Also, just remembered this, but I came close when watching Lars and the Real Girl. Great, quirky movie, but the ending to me was symbolic and pretty beautiful.
If you’ve lost a parent, this scene is just it.
Also, I was about 6 when this came out and it was my absolute favorite movie, but I’m pretty sure I totally erased this scene from my memory:

the fact that you can compare anything in buffy to the season finale of season 5 of supernatural, proves to me, your an idiot. I have yet to see any scene on tv, that even remotely comes close to this, as far as being emotional goes. nothing.[/quote]
Lol. I can’t believe you just called someone an idiot while just a few posts away citing Supernatural as the most “critically acclaimed and worshipped shows on television”. Honestly man, how many millions of years did it take your ship to find this planet?

This Futurama episodes is definitely one of the saddest things I had ever seen. It’s best when in context with the rest of the show. Fry chooses NOT to bring the dog back to life because he was sure that the dog lived a happy and fruitful life without him… and then they show that shit. I was caught off-guard first time I saw it and was a gigantic pile of man-blubber.

Yea I figured it was because it was out of context. I really should invest in Futurama. You can’t go wrong with Groening. ![]()

Heh, aye I remember that scene well. Artax was awesome but I suppose they did have to make way for the furry dragon.
The scene in Titanic where the captain has ordered the abandon ship and then walks back into the wheelhouse and just hold the wheel with the water level slowly climbing up the windows.
It’s a sailor thing perhaps.
I’m curious to know what the finale of season 5 of Supernatural is about now.
Edward Scissorhands! The whole movie but especially the very end…
Jurrasic Bark puts me in an honest-to-god depression. I can’t watch that.
The Notebook got me pretty good too. Saw it with my girl for the first time a few months ago and the part where she realizes that the story is about her just killed me.

Unless you have followed the series, it would be hard to explain. so much goes into it.
the episode where Ward was especially hard on the Beaver.
that one gets me every time.
and if you don’t cry at that one, you ain’t human (this means you Nards)

Sir yes sir all new, keeping the old school animation, only more like the movie. My brother was reading it to me yesterday when we were driving.
In my head when I read JOY, Ren and Stimpy went off in my head.
