sADDAM CAPTURED!!! GOOD GUYS REJOICE!!!

As usual, the Good Guys have triumphed in this debate. It’s been reasurring to watch how many people use their brain.
As for the other side, (lumpy, kuri, monquebec, etc…) let me post a sentence written by monquebec: “How did the numbers get inflated to 2 million? It was only a couple hundred, and he never meant to kill the Kurds.”
“NEVER MEANT TO KILL THE KURDS?!?” “A COUPLE HUNDRED?!?”
Once you read that sentence, you know that your words of logic will only be sucked into the vacuum that is monquebec’s mind. Don’t waste your time with this nitwit.
They must shun T.V. in quebec. It must be another American invention that they have an inferiority complex about. The french, and pseudo-french (quebecois) think anything American (aka…creative) highlights their own lack of inventiveness, therefore it must be shunned. How did I come to that conclusion? Anyone with a television has seen the horrendous pictures of whole warehouses full of Iraqi bodies killed by saddam. They have seen pictures of the bodies of the Kurds after being gassed. Oh, “he never meant to kill the Kurds.” I wonder where “chemical ali” got his name?

Kuri:

My point is that the French, Germans, and Russians like to take the high road in this when they probably aided Saddam (esp during the sanctions) more than any American corporation has.

Stephen Pelletiere, professor emeritus @ US Army War College, privy to much of the classified material having to do with the Persian Gulf and he headed an investigation in 1991 into how the Iraqis would fight a war against the United States. The classified version of the report went into great detail on the Halabja affair & you know as well as I do that the US government keeps pretty good records of its crimes. The Christian Science Monitor has reported a couple hundred rather than a couple million also.

MQ:

I looked at your stuff re: U.S. companies. Interesting, although it betrays a desire to classify every company with a U.S. subsidiary as a U.S. company, and it seems that almost all of the “gotcha” stuff on the list has many possible applications – I will couch that with an admission that I am no expert on the equipment listed.

However, I think all of this begs the question: What’s your point?

Hey MQ- Who cares? In the end, we still win and you’re still french-canadian. I feel pretty good about that. Now why don’t you go curling, ya hozer.

It’s really great that the US troops captured Saddam. The only sad thing his that this event is going to get Bush reelected.

Us=gg, when you say that american culture is mainly creative I’d like to hear waht is your view on that.

BB said: What’s your point?

Brian Smith said: Kuri, why don’t you outline for us exactly when and how and how much the U.S. supported Iraq? There are plenty of pictures of Roosevelt smiling warmly with Stalin. This is not to offer any particular defense of our relationship with Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war, but you have to discern deeper than such a photo.

I was only showing what Brian Smith asked for…

Hooah! The troops in Iraq have named the Black Hawk helicopter that Hillary rode in “BROOM STICK ONE” That is outstanding!

Ah, I must not have read that post. It’s not exactly a secret that the U.S., for a variety of reasons, supported Iraq against the Iranians back in the Reagan era.

MQ:

I didn’t make anything up. Everything I stated was the truth. You actually read the article you posted, and checked the links didn’t you?

And yes Saddam has spoken of his admiration of Hitler. Unfortunately MQ wants everyone to actually believe he is the honest one without some sort of agenda.

I don’t remember ever saying someone made something up.

… oh right, someone tried to tell me I loved Saddam Hussein just because I pointed out some nice things about him. Sure he was a bad guy but a lot of Iraqis had it better than the general public in the USA. They had all those things I mentioned & that’s the reason they were probably better educated on average than the general public in the USA, because university/education was accessible.

To any fucker who got a hard-on with Kuri`s picture…

Jacques Chirac and Saddam in 1976.

You forgot (cough) that one, eh? On your knees, assholes.

Another one, when Saddam was in the Nuclear Power buying mode.

#3…Hat Trick! (Crowd roars in the background).

One more…he`s on fire!

(OK. Enough now. Promised.)

Iraqi Brothels?..More fallout from the capture of former dictator Saddam Hussein. More and more Iraqis are starting to get their first taste of freedom, and they like it. More and more secular appeals are popping up, and the locals are taking full advantage. Before the removal of Saddam, people were not allowed to buy alcohol. Before his removal, a young man in search of female ?companionship? had to go to the outskirts of town. Before the fall of Saddam, drug use among Iraqi citizens was almost non ?existent.

Well, not anymore. Now, brothels are popping up around every corner and the citizens are getting hooked on drugs. You have to love the taste of freedom. A 21-year-old named Ali says that he likes to go into town and visit Abu Abdullah?s, a local cathouse. ?I don?t have a wife. I don?t have enough money to get married, so I come here.? Ali. He says that $1.50 gets him 15 minutes with a woman. They go behind a curtain in the alley - very classy. This makes those scrub and tug places by the airport look like a 5-star hotel. Ali says that he wishes the women bathed more. Yeah. I bet he does. You would hate to go all the way to Abu Abdullah?s, drop your hard earned $1.50, and then have him give you a dirty prostitute. And I can?t imagine how they get dirty. I would imagine spending time in the alley is the best way to keep extra sanitary. He wishes they would bathe more? Yeah, I bet he does?..they have even opened a pornographic movie theater. 70 cents buys you an all day ticket, and the crowds boos when non-porno material is played between films. 70 cents? All day? I?m sure that Movie Theater is just as operating room clean as the hooker alleys.

If everyone is in the porno theater and the allies with hookers all day, who are the ones fighting back against our guys? Congratulations Iraq, you have successfully embraced democracy. We all know that the surest sings of domestic tranquility are $1.50 prostitutes in the alley.

Hihger education is very assecible here in the U.S. (just don’t use my spelling as an indication). The government here subsidizes education loans and absolutely everyone can get them. I actually have much more student loan than I care to have. Nevertheless, someone has to pay for this, either the government and therefore higher taxes or the individual through loans. I would prefer to pay for my own education than having my taxes raised accordingly to pay for everyone’s education. Bottom line though, people in the U.S. have as much or better access to higher education than anyother country in the world. Anyone can get in somewhere and anyone can easily find the funds to pay for it.

Also, medical care is available to everyone. Most hospitals are non-profit organizations. As such they can’t turn away an indigent patient. If you can pay you will, but for those who can’t, they will receive mediacl treatment.

On 12/16/03 11:50 AM you stated:

“Well I am correct, but can’t you respond in any way except to make something up?”

Then on 12/16/03 6:53 PM you stated:

“I don’t remember ever saying someone made something up.”

I am not sure what deluded fantasy world you live in, but try to use some sort of intelligence in your discussions.

Then you go on to say that it was because somebody said " you loved him", which is not correct. It was stated you were trying to make him look like a saint. And you still do. They had it better then the people in the United States? If your name was Hussein then yeah, you lived better then most in the US.

But if you believe that the average Iraqi lived better then the average American then you truly are deluded.

The reason that the french and germans and russians did not support us was that they had a whole lot invested in Iraq. Saddam owed them a ton of money for weapons and they knew they would never see that money if Saddam was taken out. Now that everything is basically over, they have all agreed to forgive debt to the people of Iraq. I wonder why? Also I love the people who say we havent found WMD’s but we did find rockets from North korea with warheads that are used SOLEY for mixing sarin gas in flight. I’ts so common for a country to buy a weapon without having the means to use it properly right? And the Iraqi governing council has uncovered documents proving Mohammed Atta was in training in Iraq for 3 days in 2001 prior to 9/11. But there is absolutely no connection to Saddam and Al-queda. Beleive what you want, we did the right thing.
