Sachin's Workout Log for 300/400/500

Good upper body workout. My friend was to hop on my program, so you’ll see him in a few vids. I’ve shifted back to higher weights on my bench because I don’t have bands. Maybe I’ll invest in some some time. I also feel stronger at the seated rows, but not enough to have perfect form. Neutral Grips feel strong. I’ve also added biceps to my DE day because I do want to add more size and strength to my biceps. Okay, I really just wanna have bigger guns! Haha. I also really need to work on my grip, so I’ll need to put that into my training somehow.

Great workout. I felt quicker on my line hops, gained a bit on my 1 step and running verts, and hit a new PR on my Box Squat!!! 355lbs baby! And if felt like I could get more. I think I’ll go for 365lbs next week. I still don’t think I can go up on my reverse lunges, but I want to stick with them. Glute Ham Raises are getting easier, but I’m still not able to do them with perfect form. I gotta keep trucking along. That’s the first time I did Pallor Presses in a while, I think I could do more weight next time if I do them.

Last workout of the year. It felt good. I was able to hit 240lbs pretty easy, but I’m not sure I could have gotten 245lbs. One arm rows are feeling better, so I might be ready for 110lbs next week. I hit 6 on my pullups with 20lbs, and I think I’ll keep going with 20lbs. Perhaps until I can do 8 with them. Push Presses were still pretty hard so I can’t move up on them.

Same with the close grip bench press, but I might move up next week still. My biceps are still weak, so I’ll still hammer away at them.

First workout of the new year. It felt good. I couldn’t do it exactly how I wanted, but it still worked out. My one legged jumping doesn’t really feel like its coming along like my two legged jumping, but its all good. This is the most weight I’ve used with the bands and it was very hard. I liked it. Haha. The good mornings still felt hard, but I feel like my form is getting better. I’ve decided that calf raises are still important to a degree, so I’ve added them back in. I didn’t get my abs in, but its okay. I may just do them tomorrow.

Not a great workout today. I got the main stuff in, but not the “beach work” stuff. I just didn’t have the energy. Something about the chinups took a lot out of me. Oh well. Not everyday can be a good day. I’m just glad it fell on a lighter upper body day rather then a heavy day or a lower body day. The speed benches felt pretty heavy. I think all the festivities of the new year just took its toll. Oh well. This day of rest will feel good. Then hopefully a 365lbs Box Squat!!! We shall see.

The sprints and jumps workout was decent. I might have gained a bit on my one step jump, but not on my running jump. I really need to work on transferring the sprint energy into vertical jumping energy. The weights workout though, that felt really good. I hit 365lbs on the box squat!!! AND I went up to 260lbs on the reverse lunges!!! I didn’t think I could do either one honestly. I didn’t get much sleep last night and it was the first day of school today.

Anatomy and Physiology 2 is going to be incredibly tough. I’ll have a crazy amount of studying to do. The reverse lunges are still pretty rough, but I am trying to touch lightly on them. However, there were some times when I touched harder then I wanted. Oh well. The glute-ham raises are feeling easier. I need to figure out a way to make them harder soon. Do you guys have any suggestions? BTW, this might be the last video I make in a while.

I’ll keep you guys updated on my workouts, but I think when I get achievements, I’ll post them. It’s just time consuming waiting for people to let me record and all that. Like I said though, I’ll keep you guys up to date; especially when I hit my goals. Thanks for all the support with watching my videos and stuff. I hope it continues.

Hey guys. Just filling you in on what I’ve been up to. So I’ve been doing a lot of squatting lately. I’ve you’ve been keeping up with my log, you saw I did a lot of box squats. While I still think they’re a good tool, I did them so much that I kind of forgot how to do a regular squat, so now I’m doing those for the most part. I’m also doing speed squats rather then speed box squats on my lighter days. My back squat is only at about 345lbs right now, but I feel like it should increase pretty quickly. The biggest thing I need to work on is getting deep enough. I’ve also gone up to 265lbs on my reverse lunges, and I’ve began to add weight to my glute ham raises. I think I’ll start doing more jump/sprint exercises pretty soon because my friends asked me to join a basketball league with them. Hopefully I get a lot of gains. I’ll be sure to post vids when I do something impressive.

Hey guys. It’s been a while, but I decided to post a video since I haven’t in a while. I’m on a different routine right now. It’ll look pretty similar because it is, but the reps and sets and stuff are different. I’ve been trying to work on getting lower in my squat. It’s working, but I still have work to do. I still have some buttwink if I don’t concentrate on keeping my arch. I tried a Rippetoe type squat, but wasn’t in love with it. I’m moving towards more of an olympic squat. I’m starting to think knees over the toes dont matter, as long as the hips/glutes are what are loaded first. I also can tell I still need to work on my back. I feel like I have the leg strength to squat 500lbs, but the back strength to squat 350ish. I gotta keep going. This workout I was working with 300lbs on the squat, 280lbs on the reverse lunge, and I’ve added a 5lbs plate on my GHR. I think I’ll max when I can get 315lbs for at least 3. We shall see if these higher reps have helped.
