Ruth Bader Ginsburg Has Died

Yet, no one gets arrested and convicted for murder?

Kermit Gosnell did.

They were already born.

CNN reporting that Trump will nominate Amy Coney Barrett tomorrow.

Again…I think it’s a solid choice.

She’s interviewed, vetted, and been through the “Feinstein Fire”.

Let’s see how the DEMS behave as a whole.

Technically, I guess? That’s really splitting already split hairs. I have never heard of anyone holding such a belief, but I wouldn’t rule it out.

Postmodernism more accurately.
The people, of the organization of the Satanic Temple say they are atheists. I do not have any evidence to the contrary, save that their name itself is contradictory. So I am not going to impart what I think, they think on them.
I am saying, it’s possible that the Satanic Temple is in fact satanic and use atheism as a front, but I am not alleging they are in fact doing that. Also, I am saying, aside from whatever the Satanic Temple is, there are real, actual definitionally correct satanists who love and worship Satan and those people are scary as shit.

Isn’t that legal in Virginia anyway?

No. People misread the actual wording because they are barely literate.

However, in Virginia, if you get divorced, you are still brother and sister.

I’ll take your word for it, the governor did himself no favours with his interview, which is where I am cribbing this from.

Well, if they illegalised that, then think of the housing crisis!

They have an opportunity to steal an optics win. If they fuck it up? More fool them.

Ok - then why w/r/t Garland did the GOP controlled Senate insist that the reason he didn’t get a vote was this principle that that close to an election, the winner of the pending presidential election should be able to pick the justice?

…instead of “we get to confirm/reject whoever we want, whenever we want based on our partisan makeup”?

Which @treco says is “just following the Constitution”?

Why say the presidential election year was the reason?

To try and cover their basis for an electorate with a seconds long attention span. It was a stupid argument then and it remains one now. They should have just been honest on what we all knew at the time “we’re not holding a vote on this guy because we have the cards and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
Pointing out hypocrisy unfortunately doesnt work in the current political environment and really hasn’t in quite awhile.

I appreciate the candor, you’re a Hell of a lot more honest than others. But it wasn’t a stupid argument - it was a lie. But, like most lies, they tie you up in others.

That may yet be a premature statement.

Politicians worked out a long time ago that the electorate has the memory of a goldfish. And if they do remember, it’s almost never going to be the swinging voters, so it doesn’t matter anyway

Looks like I called this one right. Human Trafficking is the first accusation out of the gate. Let’s see if this picks up any steam and makes its way into the confirmation hearings. There’s still plenty of time for the Dems to look into Barrett’s ties to Michael Vick and Vladimir Putin.

Precisely. They were too clever by half. ‘We have the senate, and we control the senate orders’ would have been a much more respectable stance.

Who in the entire world considers politicians to be honorable?

After all, they are majorily populated by the least trusted occupation.

Not aimed at those who have moved into the world of finance.
Which of course is also a barrel of snakes

I work in finance, and the serpent himself wouldn’t pull the shit the finance industry pulls.
