Those Chechen tictock videos have been all over Funker530 for weeks. No one has to ridicule them, they embarass themselves. It’s like the Russians don’t know how to do the internet.
In some cases, these sorts of things are loyalty litmus tests. If you tell a convincing and airtight story, the people that follow you might follow you because they believe your story. If your story is not credible, you know that the people following you are broken. You can’t be weakened when your story is exposed, because they already know it wasn’t true.
It’s like in 1984. The goal is to make people believe things that are obviously untrue. That is how you break someone. Using logic and evidence to convince someone still leaves them able to use their own logic and evidence.
This is also why scammers use bad grammar and ridiculous scenarios. You’re filtering for the vulnerable that you can control.
