Russian Military Buildup Outside Ukraine

Basically this. I’ve studied Russia and it’s history a lot. Putin aims for hegemony position in parts of Europe and Asia.

Descripting his regime as militaristic, ultra-nationalistic, imperialistic and fascist (Ruscism is the term experts tend to use) is not hyperbolic.

Ps. Forgot despotic authoritarian.

Not going to read 3000+ messages. Could you explain shortly?

Trump is, yes. Thats why Hegseth was doing a presser and putting emphasis on us negotiating from a position of strength.

That wasn’t for the US. He’s trying to convince the other parts of the world of that.

That’s just corruption. It’s valid to criticise it. It really does not take away justification for defending Ukraine.

Yeah. Our politicians love their kickbacks.

They’ll get behind any good humanitarian cause as long as there is something in it for them. Cloaked in a shroud of righteousness as they skim millions.

Same as always then.

Two things will always prevail: misuse of power and corruption. More the power condences, more of both we will have.
