Russian Military Buildup Outside Ukraine

No, they’re pretty hawkish dudes. That’s why they would be good sources for information on the possible benefits of the US supporting Ukraine.

And they’re all right leaning guys with experience in foreign policy and military stuff. So maybe their Republican, Pro Ukraine perspective would make this seem left like a Democrat/Republican, political issue.

They would be good sources because they want all wars?

I don’t know about “right leaning.” They’re definitely Neocons, though.

It would definitely solidify it as a politicians vs. people issue, I guess. Which may not be all that bad.

More Russian propaganda, courtesy of Regurgitating Right Wingers:

(the most glaring serious point made is that during the Trump years, where did the Clinton Global Initiative go? did the world not have any problems for the charitable Clintons to fix?)

Told y’all it’s Marxism rebranded for suckers.

The US cannot be defeated in a kinetic conflict but in the information space it’s different. If US physical military assets, that are unmatched in terms of power, are grounded (literally and figuratively), for deterrence purposes due to a lack of political will, then China (and their new-ish bitch that is Russia) has a free hand.

The message they’re pushing is super simple - US should unilaterally withdraw from all foreign policy obligations until some bullshit but nicely sounding, unachievable criterion in met, that even the richest-per-capita countries haven’t solved (world peace…I mean “homelessness”). Of course, the goal of dismantling the American Empire and it’s force projection would wreak havoc on the US economy and supply chains…but that’s the whole fucking point.

And let’s not forget the “neocon warmonger” and “military industrial complex” accusations leveled by Tulsi, Tucker and other useful idiots that only come into play when Russia’s and China’s interests are threatened.

Send weapons to Ukraine or Taiwan? Then I’m calling you a bloodthirsty Clintonite bent on endless wars. Threaten to invade Mexico? Well, Chinese and Russian interests are not directly threatened so we don’t give a fuck.

Here’s for the “10 billion for Ukraine”. It’s faster to copy/paste TASS and Pravda directly then wait until it reaches the “independent thinkers” through targeted social media campaigns.

Agreed!

Totally disagree! There’s no reason to get involved in the affairs of others countries regardless of the problems or lack thereof over here.

Has that threat been made? I mean, it’s probably more sensible than worrying about China and Russia since it’s feet away vs. thousands of miles(other than a piece of Alaska…which is also disconnected from the rest of this country) and an ocean away…but it would be pretty silly to invade a place that presents no threat besides its people coming up here.

Of course there are plenty of reasons. The world is not utopia.

You mean invading.

True. Just not good ones.

Sure. But not as representatives of another country.

They’re citizens of whatever craphole they’re from.

Which is why they should get no benefits whatsoever.

This is exactly how Russian propaganda works lol. And Fox news have a record of spreading Russian disinformation. Its a textbook diverting.

And why we should stop them before they get to the border, even if it means “invading” Mexico.

I’d rather take away the entitlements, first. If, for some reason, they keep coming over, then, I suppose, we could possibly have to invade Mexico in order to keep their people there. We would still be a country directly effected by the conflict, so it wouldn’t be anything like being involved in the Russia/Ukraine conflict-we wouldn’t be getting involved in the affairs of other countries, but our own.

Agreed or go full domination and rule the world with an iron fist.

Stop taking half measures and kissing ass to people we could annihilate. Do it 100% or do not do it at all. If you fuck with us or our economic interests, we send you back to pre-stone age.

We agree here, so back to my first point.

We could use all that old ordinance and stuff we are sending the Ukraine. It would be cheaper too as we wouldn’t have to move it far. Shipping is expensive these days.

And we would be shoring up OUR border and not somebody else’s.

I like this idea.

You cant do that wirh an iron fist. It was discussed that wars are not won in that way. Has anyone won a war recently?

You do it with a cultural dominance and economic sanctions. And that is what you and we in Europe do. We are the cool kids culturally. Every child in the world wants to be us, not matter what Putin or other wanna be dictators want. The children want to be like us. And if things do not change these wanna be dictators will lose brain and work power and will drain down in an endless pit.

Economically sanctions work well. After the war started EU and US started trading a lot more in energy and agriculture. So there is no point in going big against Russia. That is bullying and you will gain only enemies, while giving no chance for their children to develop to something better.

If you leave any left alive.

AI and robots are going to replace us all anyways.

Well okay then!

Won the war with a single tweet! Damn, social media really is very powerful!

I don’t think this warranted a new thread. Maybe a mod can do us all a solid and merge them.
