I see you wanted me, a republican, to go forward and claim that the game that the republicans ran against Hillary or Obama for that matter is in fact a game.
How many times did you point out Obama’s failures right here on T Nation? He had many how many did you post on and on about? Yet…you go on about Trump. Oh wait…you were/are on Obama’s side…I see. And you dislike Trump- Got it.
I can see both sides and clearly agree with one over the other. You agree with one side over the other as well but you still don’t understand that both sides play the game…
I don’t know if you play poker but trust me on this you don’t show your opponents your hand if you are trying to win.
You gave opinions above, but I don’t see where you weighed in on the rightness or wrongness of what Trump did. If you did, please go ahead a report.
I went into detail drawing comparisons from past.
Well, two things: (1) your comparisons were about something else, not about what Trump did, but about what Congress did or didn’t do re: Obama, and (2) comparisons don’t answer the question, in any event.
You think Trump was ok to do what he did, or he was wrong - which is it?
And there is “the rub” you (and the other Trump haters) seem to think that he is ultimately the subject of this investigation. Now the onus is on you to tell me exactly why YOU think that he is the subject of this investigation (since at this point he is not).
You (predictably) misstate what I said - I said Trump was potentially the subject of the investigation, he currently is not. He could be, if new facts in the investigation come to light that shows his involvement. That’s why you have an investigation in the first place - to assemble information and see where it leads.
I’ve seen no proof that Trump is guilty of anything other than being overbearing and quite obnoxious at times. And now back to my original point. You hate him therefore he must be tied up in something nefarious.
I don’t hate him, but we all see the New Zeb Defense in action - any criticism of Trump will be met with “So much hate from all the haters!” in lieu of actually responding to the criticism on the merits. I, for one, ain’t interested in that - just stick to the actual merits of the claim and we’ll all be fine.
This - the partisan hypocrisy “game” - only works on people who aren’t aware of what you’re trying to do. Here in PWI, we’re all aware of what you’re trying to do, so it doesn’t work, and looks silly.
According to the above just about anyone “could be”. I don’t see the relevance.
Wrong again and on the topic of Trump you have been consistently wrong. Wrong that he did not succeed financially on his own. Wrong that Trump would not get the nomination. Wrong that Trump would not win the White House. Wrong every time on the topic of Trump. Is it out of the question to assume you’re not very fond of him? Nope.
So I “ain’t” interested in your opinion on the topic of Trump. Your judgment is colored beyond recognition.
Oh, I’m not fond of Trump, at all. I just don’t hate him.
Nowhere in your post did you answer the question I posed. Can I get an answer? That’ll keep the thread discussing the actual merits of an action taken by Trump.
That’s dumb, people of all kinds of political persuasions “like” my posts at various times. That makes no sense.
And I’ve said before, there’s nothing wrong with being partisan - it’s being mindlessly and stupidly partisan that I have an objection to. @anon50325502 is partisan, @EyeDentist is partisan - but neither are obsequious hacks.
Actually it’s not at all “dumb” as you like to say whenever pressed with facts. If you go back and take a look at who “likes” your posts when you are blasting Trump it is usually left wing posters. Do I care? Only to the point where you seem to have an obsession with my partisanship but never say a peep about their partisanship.
Like I said…you have to do better if you expect me (or anyone who at this point is non-biased) to take you seriously.
You forget to add “in my opinion”. You see TB you don’t like anyone popping up and defending Trump because you “dislike him” so much.
As for being a partisan hack…would a partisan hack say that GHW Bush was wrong for not keeping his pledge and not raising taxes? Would a partisan hack say that Ronald Reagan stretched the truth when he told various stories? I have disagreed with things republicans have said and done, but you gloss over it to get your ad hominem attacks in. Gotta get your digs in for the day or you just don’t feel good about yourself. Ha.
That’s what you do. When you “dislike” someone you go after them. It matters not what party and it matters not if they are a professional politician or a poster on T Nation.
That makes sense - they don’t like Trump either.
Do I care?
Well, since you’re keeping score on who “likes” my posts, yes, it’s painfully clear you care.
Only to the point where you seem to have an obsession with my partisanship but never say a peep about their partisanship.
Their partisanship isn’t mindless and hypocritical - but in any event, there is a Republican president and we spend 99% of the time talking about something he did.
Like I said…you have to do better if you expect me (or anyone who at this point is non-biased) to take you seriously.
I’m not all that worried if you “take me seriously” or not, but more importantly, let’s get the thread back on track - what’s your answer to my question?
Well, no, I’m trying to move the conversation on to an examination of something Trump did (and is doing) and all I’m asking for is your opinion on the matter. You either think Trump is right or wrong on this - so, what is your opinion?
Instead of always trying to impugn the motives of a Trump critic, why don’t you just say what your opinion is?
Sure, they’re partisan. I never said otherwise. I don’t care if a person is partisan - in fact, it’s more fun if they are. I do care if someone is an uninformed, mindless partisan.
