Russia Won't Go Away

Yep. Maybe nothing ultimately comes of this, but when Trump starts pre-empting defending himself against testimony by attacking the messenger, there’s every reason to presume something is there and keep digging out the facts.

In late November, a member of Donald Trump’s transition team approached national security officials in the Obama White House with a curious request: Could the incoming team get a copy of the classified CIA profile on Sergey Kislyak, Russia’s ambassador to the United States?

The outgoing White House also became concerned about the Trump team’s handling of classified information. After learning that highly sensitive documents from a secure room at the transition’s Washington headquarters were being copied and removed from the facility, Obama’s national security team decided to only allow the transition officials to view some information at the White House, including documents on the government’s contingency plans for crises.

Thank you for proving my point.

The Game continues…

You call a tweet interfering hahaha the hate goes really deep doesn’t it? Did you send away for your Trump dart board yet? I can see you gathered around the water cooler at work trashing Trump on your break. They must be as sick of you as I am.

Go away you are more biased than I am…HA!

Of course there’s something there. You hate him so there must be something there. None of this has anything to do with Trump’s sometimes outlandish behavior. It MUST BE THAT HE’S A RUSSIAN STOOGE.

Ha you are so simple

It’s not ‘a game.’ But given the ineptitude and intemperance of the candidate you supported, I understand why you would take this rhetorical tack.

Does this mean the GOP-controlled Senate and House hate him as well? How about the FBI, and likely other agencies? Because they’re all investigating his campaign/admin.

Any comment by a POTUS that impugns the motives/integrity of a witness about to appear before a Congressional committee is interference, yes. The fact that that comment was made via a trite mode of communication (a tweet) has nothing to do with it.

I imagine if HRC had pre-tweeted disparaging, prejudicial remarks about witnesses about to appear before one of the many Benghazi hearings, you wouldn’t have laughed it off as ‘part of The Game, my friend.’

Those of us who care about the integrity of our country and its political process will not stand idly by while people like you try to normalize Trump. He is not a normal POTUS–the way he does things; the way he conducts himself; the agenda he pursues; the things he says. None of these are normal, and we will push back against people like you who try to shrug off his bizarre actions as business-as-usual in some fictional, self-serving conceit called ‘The Game.’

It is a game and you are a participant. The fact that you don’t know it is actually funny.

That is part of the game. The DNC makes loud noises the press blows it out of proportion and BLAM investigation time. Just what the left wing media and the DNC wanted. You don’t see that because you are looking for even more reasons to hate him…you are a stooge in the game.

LOL…I hate Trump sniff-sniff boo-hoo. There there E…it will be okay only 3 years and 9 months to go. You won’t like it…you will have plenty of these moments but you will get through it.

I wonder why Obama was not investigated when Lois Lerner pleaded the 5th 45 times over the IRS harassing Conservative groups? Oh that’s right…the media under reported it. “Nothing to see here folks just business as usual”

Now tell me E were you outraged over this?

Of course not.

The game continues…

And tell me E did it bother you one bit when Obama used the NSA to spy on US citizens?

Naw…he’s your man of course it was just fine.

Then there was this:

http://lubbockonline.com/interact/blog-post/may/2011-09-05/did-president-barack-obama-authorize-gun-running-mexico

But again the press didn’t talk much about it. No big deal so the Attorney General was running guns to Mexico…So what?

You liked Obama so it was really nothing. But people died because of this. “Oh stop it…it was Obama it was A-okay”

Got the idea of the game yet? No? I have more…

But look out YOU SAY Trump is questioning the integrity of a witness…GASP! LOL…funny stuff

Face it. The dems have done far, far worse and yet you remain silent.

We each have a side and your side is going to do very little wrong IN YOUR EYES.

The Game…

If Obama wasn’t investigated after someone pleading the 5th 45 times (or any instance) wouldn’t that fall squarely on whoever controlled Congress at the time? How is the media to blame when Congress isn’t doing their job? How is anyone BUT Congress to blame for a lack of investigation?

Very good point it is all Congresses fault. The media holds absolutely no sway whatsoever on anyone in or out of power. In short they carry no weight.

I should have known that and thank you for the correction.

No one’s interested in yet another one of your tantrums wrecking another thread - the question is do you think it’s a bad thing that the President is trying - via social media - to affect an independent Congressional investigation? Yes, or no?

And I am not interested in you ignoring facts regarding the entire political spectrum both current and past at this level. This should not come as a surprise to you that we compare and contrast political administrations all of the time when we discuss this topic.

Edit: As for tantrums you are the KING!

The question is: is it good or bad that Trump is trying to affect a Congressional investigation with his public statements?

You do have an opinion on the merits of this, right?

I already gave my opinion above.

I don’t see where you answered the question I’m asking, though - is what Trump did good or bad? Are you ok with a president publicly trying to impact the process and the findings of an independent Congressional investigation, especially one that he is potentially a subject of?

And there is “the rub” you (and the other Trump haters) seem to think that he is ultimately the subject of this investigation. Now the onus is on you to tell me exactly why YOU think that he is the subject of this investigation (since at this point he is not). I’ve seen no proof that Trump is guilty of anything other than being overbearing and quite obnoxious at times. And now back to my original point. You hate him therefore he must be tied up in something nefarious. AND…we are back to The Game.

Strangely enough, no one can find any references to this “The Game” concept during the Benghazi hearings. Or anything else related to Hillary or Obama.

Pure coincidence I guess.
