Rush!

He was also returning from the Dominican Republic, a country with a big sex tourism industry, and a problem with child prostitution.

Gosh, bradley. Nice work.

He said this…

“Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. … And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up,” Limbaugh said on his short-lived television show on Oct. 5, 1995.

I can’t say anything about that except that the word “hypocrite” is the first thing that comes to mind (and I loathe hypocrites)

But let’s not convivt him of what he may very well NOT be guilty of…

“Limbaugh’s doctor had prescribed the Viagra, but it was “labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes,” Roy Black, Limbaugh’s attorney, said in a statement.”

Wrong is wrong but at least wait to see where this goes. Otherwise, everyone looks bad.

So all we can say is that he was an idiot in 95, but this we know for sure?

Say what you want about his drug use but the Viagra scrip sound like a non-issue. Make a huge deal about the Oxy, just don’t convict anyone on things that have not been proven out.

When you give the benefit of the doubt, your credibility is strengthened when you go about ripping them a new one about past, known indiscretions that’s all.

I could not care less what pills this idiot swallows, I do care about moronic BS like “drugs are destroying our country”.

No, your drug use, or more precise your prohibition of some drug use, destroys Columbia.

Meanwhile people reach an older healthier age than ever before even though they abuse legal drugs like hell, because of all the other legal drugs that help them repair the damage.

What he should have said was:

Drugs are evil if the governmnet does not get its cut, after all, if you are selling in the US, you are selling on its turf.

Because I am so deeply in love with my government, “conservative” that I am, I am for the US government to enforce those rights or otherwise all the other gangs won`t respect it anymore.

You know, you’re so far wrong it’s barely worth comment.

Isn’t yours the country which jails people for writing disagreeable things about history? Because you’re worried that people seeing swatztikas in video games, might, I don’t know… cause you assholes to fire up the ovens again?

It’s entirely appropriate and almost poetic, that Rush Limpbaugh, the blowhard icon of the extreme right has a LIMP DICK.

Your fascination with my countries past gets pretty obvious.

Want me to send you some Nazi memorabilia so you can properly detest them?

Give them a special place under your Hitler bust.

And of course you are right, the US government is in no way acting like a street thug protecting his corner and people like Limbaugh do not perpetuate the problem.

No I but I think it’s an absolute joke that you get up on your high horse about foreign policy when there are plenty of people still alive that remember what your country’s independent policy decisions amounted to 60 years ago. Fortunately since then you’ve been so dominated by other nations’ whims that you haven’t had a chance to fire up the ovens.

I have written that once and I will probably take the time to do it again in the future if I have to.

If all you have to offer in defense of some horrible mistakes in US foreign and domestic policy is:

The Nazis did worse!

and actually believe that that counts for shit you have serious denial problems.

Plus, the Holocaust ended more than 60 years ago.

I feel as guilty for it as you do for the slaughter of the American Indians or slavery.

orion,

The difference, of course, is that your history is recent. It’s within living memory.

The last slaveowners and killers of Indians were dead long before any of us drew breath.

So, not a very effective try. Further, if criticism is the only thing you offer, you might try taking a long break from this forum.

Thanks in advance,

Well, fine then. Let’s put this in perspective. America does make mistakes. But on the whole, our foreign policy and our entire national character has been far more benevolent than pieces of shit like you will ever admit.

Shall we compare what our countries did when they were powerful? Should I bring up stories of outright conquest and subjugation practiced by the Hapsburgs, where ever they thought they could get away with it? This is not the dirty hands theory, far from it.

You live in a country which is internationally impotent… by choice. I would hope that this is a result of massive horror and guilt as it is for Germany at the atrocities of the RECENT past.

However, given the fact that you have elected Nazis and Nazi sympathizers since 1945 on several occasions – Haider, anyone? – and your countries well-documented cultural denial of your crimes (“oh they invaded us, we had nothing to do with it”), forgive me when I tell you to suck my ass.

You are the direct equivalent of a third-string player who probably could have some impact, but would rather sit on the sidelines and bitch about the coaches and star players because you know they don’t care enough about you to do anything about it. That way you don’t have to do the work or make any tough decisions, but can try to share in the accomplishments of the team when it does well.

I tell you what, you don’t like our foreign policy? What in the fuck has Austria anywhere outside their own borders that was really helpful to anyone else? Has Austria ever done a thing for the United States?

I can think of a few things off the top of my head that were very expensive, very dangerous, and very good for AUSTRIA that the USA has done for your country, and you are a big enough morally bankrupt piece of shit to come on here day in and day out and call us everything that your country actually has been (Nazis, empire-builders, thugs) and that we will never be.

Here you are – the Marshall Plan… do we get any credit for that? I mean, your fucking grandfathers were running slave pits and putting people in ovens because they worshipped God in their own fashion… and then within a few years we were spending millions and millions of dollars to get you back on your feet. Some Evil Empire. You don’t understand America or Americans at all.

How about manning your eastern frontier for 50 years keeping out the Soviets, who would have killed you without a second thought for levying any of the criticisms against them that you do against the USA day in and day out. How many billions of dollars did we spend, how many millions of otherwise productive American lives were wasted planning manning and guarding you from invasion? A decade after the Wall falls and you spend every day on the Net being a total fucking prick to everything about the USA.

It makes a lot of Americans who served and paid outrageous tax through that time period – “Was it worth it?” You may say that it was all in self interest but I can assure you that those rank-and-file guys thought they were defending Western civilization against an idealogy that was the most efficiently murderous in history (it turned out to be worse than we imagined). We also thought that the free peoples of the West were worth saving.

But when we go on and see little shitbags like yourself accusing the USA of everything in the book, it makes us wonder.

After all, we didn’t have to do it. There were a lot of people in this country who thought it would be best to let the USSR run rampant through Europe, and once things settled down we could then go on and commence trade with the Communists (why not?). Trillions of dollars that we spent on defence, how many lives fighting worldwide (without Austria’s help, of course), how many nights sitting in some cold guard posts or watching helicopters damn near squish your bunk when they landed on the carrier or sweating as we chased Soviet subs throughout the seven seas and under the ice shelfs. Is THIS what we labored for? Were the peaceniks right, that we ought to have let places like Austria fall under the iron boot? Let the inevitable millions die so that we might have the stability that cravens like you desire?

The fact is that you judge us against some ridiuculous standard… Oh, I know, it’s the standard that we discuss openly about ourselves and fret and debate and protest when we feel we are not living up to it. Somehow I trust our own judgement and our own loyal opposition a little more than you.

So with all possible offense intended, go fuck yourself.
