Rugby World Cup 2011

Exactly. They realised how pathetic and boring League was and moved over to Union. They took their talents to a worthier cause.

League is tries ,big hits and has superior athletes. Uniion is scrum scrum scrum kick lineout another bunch of scrums mual after maul of props falling over and if your lucky ball in hand. Sonny Bill was fall from being a great League player but very good . Beale and Nonu could not cut it in league. Most Rugby players would not last 20 mins on the NRL.

league requires very little skill in relation to union imo. if u can catch, then you’re halfway there. ive played league and it is much tougher physically, but no where near as exciting.

or as you’d put it… league is bosh, bosh, bosh, bosh ball goes behind someone running an angle then bosh, kick.

what is the point of having a scrum in league? its completely embarrassing.

positions are meaningless as well. in england, you get two fucking annoying northerners on sky sports harping on about how its so special that he’s a ‘prop’ and he offloaded. ‘OH MY GODDDDD, HE’S A ‘PROP’ AND HE OFLOADEDDDDDD’

there are no props, there are no second rows, there are no centres. you just have… rugby league players

I beg to differ on the skill factor. There is no one playing rugby that would have the skill set of Billy Slater, Greg Inglis , Jonathan Thurston or your own Sam Tompkins

Well , what do they do in rugby. Ruck after ruck after ruck of props falling over. Then a kick if were lucky.

I agree with you. yet rugby scrums sometimes go for uo to three minutes Pack, collapse, pack, collapse ,referee who usually has never packed into a scrum says his thing, pack ,collapse free kick.

At least they can stand up and run around for 80 mins.

All different sizes yet why do Rugby clubs falling head over heels to sign Rugby League players. Also Australian football is trying to sign League players. Why ? They are superior athletes.

Going good, one of the highest paid Afl players.

It’s not enough that the original topic of this thread was deviated from but now you’re talking about how League players are better athletes? You might as well tell us what’s on your mind now that you’ve completely stepped away from your notion that Union is boring. Might as well try and bring down the sport using a different argument huh?

I don’t actually care what your opinions are but you do sound bitter.
