If Sonny Bill can make the move from League to Union why can’t Manu Vatuvei eventually become an All Black one day?[/quote]
Because as evidenced by last saturdays finals game, he can become a total liability.

Happiness is Ireland 15:Australia 6. What a performance by the boys in green. Felt my heart in my eyeballs as Bowe ran the pitch. Can Australia still be considered favourites when they can’t function properly without their 7?
What a game of rugby!!!

Awesome forwards performance from Ireland and in truth Ireland could have won by more, really enjoyed that game. Sets them up well, they just need consistency. I remember six nations where Ireland did not do too much until that performance against England where your back row was immense.
I am looking forward to England tomorrow even if I do have to get up at 7am on a Sunday. Just hope we can actually be more competitive at the breakdown and start to bring our back 3 into play more. Hoping the home nations can start to put an end to southern hemisphere dominance.
I’m going to get obscenely drunk…

Those Irish boys played so well, they really deserved that win.
Off out…there will lots of drunken Irish chicks slipping around town. ![]()
Great win by the Irish!
Not one to gloat, but I predicted this on the first page of this thread!
Can I get an apology from all of those who doubted???
Ireland was incredible today. Wow.
I was on the edge of my seat during the whole game. Well deserved win. The Australians looked like a bunch of beginners, haha!!
julle moere! die bokke lyk so bietjie beter.
Ireland strung together a great performance.
SA looked a lot better against the fijians

I didn’t doubt (not openly anyway :-)) but well predicted and well done the Irish.
Was by far the best game I have seen so far in the tournament.
LOL at not one to gloat, but here is a great big gloat anyway.
I heard Canada won a game!

Missed the game cause of this work thing we all have to do. But from what I’ve just heard the US can hold their heads high, and Australia are in big shit.
I’m still trying to catch the replay of us v. Namibia.
More things that are fun to watch…
Oz can moan about missing their first choice hooker and Openside Flanker all they want, the fact is, so were Ireland.
I went to work early so I could catch the first half and I genuinely didn’t believe the score when I was told. Great day for Irish rugby(yes, I’m still blowing on about it)
