Saturday - Match
Lost to a team we’ve beat 2 times this season, both times by 30+ point margins. This was first round of playoffs so single elimination, we are done.
I’m not upset as I did not get any time in the game. Cunt of a coach only used 2 subs, even though our opponent traveled with less than a full roster, and plenty of fatties that were dead tired. Fresh legs from reserves with loads of speed and experience would have opened the game up, but oh well…
A very fitting end to a season of poor decisions by the coach and captain, I have nothing but good things to reflect upon as an individual.
I was able to perform training provided to me by one of the greatest minds in sport consulting, and was able to train with my whole heart to pursue a new goal, and although it did not come to fruition as I planned, it was an amazing journey and I have learned immensely from it.
Will take some time now to relax, sort out a club abroad so I can learn to play rugby league, and maybe I’ll squeeze in a powerlifting or Strongman contest soon haha
Even though it is over there are plenty of good things that came about from it.
Keep us posted even though the season is over.
Stay strong brother
Congratulations on getting through the season. Even though things did not pan out as you had planned, it takes a lot of determination and effort to get through a season. You held your head up high and did the best you could in a environment that sounds like probably was not the best.
Enjoy your rest. Are you planning a holiday? After your break, make sure you keep us up-dated on your training.

Performing training underneath ‘The Thinker’ was worth it alone.
Thanks for following the log, bud

Thanks for the encouraging words, definitely not ideal situation but I saw it to the end.
No holiday, just 2 weeks of active rest, then back to some hypertrophy training.
Still got youth rugby coaching, we are in playoffs and we are actually winning haha.
Tough season, but the next one can only be better.
I know its been mentioned but just because the season is over doesn’t mean that this here log is.
Except you to be posting even more now.
Stay strong
