I have got to get that this week.

So Friday I fell asleep and never made to the gym, yesterday I was out all day, so today I mixed in spinning/Fridat DL day/Monday Bench day, as I have a 3 am day tomorrow and appointments in the afternoon…it’s tough being busy and working :stuck_out_tongue:

Spinning - 25 mins

It is tough juggling real life and gym time but I don’t know too many people that are as dedicated as you being at the gym at 4am either.

Well… I only did half the class so I could save my blood sugar for deadlifts… it didn’t really work and I had to stop and eat some fruit and take some glucose shots but yeah that was the way I did it.

If it wasn’t for the low blood sugar it really isn’t bad at all. Yeah I have an early day tomorrow, I should be asleep probably… eep!

Back to my regular schedule today…

SO I talked to my doctor yester day and he said I was a good canidate for an insulin pump, yay! He gave me a bunch of brochures to choose which one I would like and signed me up for an “Intro to Pump” class, so yeah I’m excited :slight_smile:
I had all kinds of questions about how this would affect me going to the gym. He laughed and said that he never had a patient like me who was so worried about the gym and gaining muscle, lol

I think I mentioned before that I have been doing this days work out out of order but today I figured I start doing it the right way. By that I mean 5x5, 3x8, 3x12…

The reason I do this instead of traditional shoulder presses is because I shoulders don’t react well to any kind of direct shoulder work. So far though I have not had any problems with this one, as long as I am warmed up beforehand.

My big question with this “lift” is am I doing it right? Should the bar be more infront of my shoulder then off to the side?

I really do fail at up loading videos to this site…

That actually was hard by the last set. I will agree that I could go up in weight but I will be doing less reps… I’ll do it though…

I enede up getting really distracted while I was DLing because this skinny kid decided he was going to bench 225. He did do it but none of us though he was going to make it. We all just stopped to wait for him to drop it on himself. He did manage it, completely bad form and it was only half of an actualy bench press, but he survived. Then he got mad at a guy who offered to spot him…


So this is just an extra post…
Alot of my RL friends talk about how difficult it is to diet or to stick to a meal plan and really I have no mercy on them.

It does take some displine but if you just plan ahead it is managable. For example, my meals for lunch for the next week preplanned, packaged, and ready to go. I don’t want to hear that dieting is too hard because this is easy…

What’s an RL friend?

I thought I was the only anal retentieve lunch packer. I do the same thing Sunday mornings and pack for the week. I’ve been eating the same thing for years. My friends make fun of me but it really does save mental energy having to think of something new every day.

I’m impressed with your DL reps. That’s a lot of volume.

RL = Real Life friends
I have been living in the internet world with people I only know from the internet for awhile now, I forget not everyone has separate groups. Though I have been lucky enough to meet almost all of my friends from online :slight_smile:

I think I have been eating the same thing for about 2 years now. Most people do think it is kinda weird but I don’t care. I think it saves money too.

I changed my workout up a little today out of bordom and feeling like I couldn’t get my back streched out enough for SLDL this morning so I did GMs instead… I haven’t done those in awhile.

Well yes and no. I have been able to stay at the same weight in alot of exercises and move up a little but I dod thik that if I was going later in the day I would move up faster. My biggest problem is being streached out enough to fully get the benefit from alot of the movements I do. I do waht I can to strech and warm up but I think some of it jsut comes w/ being awake longer befoer I go to the gym. I’m there w/in 20 mins of rolling out of bed… and I think I’m getting old :frowning:
