When was Romney ever a conservative?
He’s the same as Obama but probably a little more hungry for war with Iran.

I get tired of pointing out to the brain dead that as Governor Romney lowered taxes 19 times, removed needless regulation on small business and stood firm on other fiscally conservative policies.
The difference between Obama and Romney is enormous!
You may not get the guy you want (if you wanted Ron Paul) but Romney is no Obama.
As for your uninformed Iran comment if you think ignoring the issue will prevent Iran from developing and using a nuclear weapon on the US you’re quite naive. No one wants war, not Obama, not Romney no one who is sane. It’s just a matter of the smartest steps to prevent war. And Obama’s head in the sand approach has its limitations. And Ron Paul’s “let em have the nukes yeeee haaaa…” policy is just about as dumb as it gets.

You may not get very far with the Paulnuts on this distinction, particularly since they somehow declare Paul - a revisionist-radical-libertarian - a conservative.
During the era of the Founders, a person with Paul’s ideology would have been declared a loon and a mountebank, and a French agitator. Well, the same as he is seen today, minus the French connection.

His supporters will say that he’s doing so well that he doesn’t need to campaign in any other states.
I’m being serious, I wonder how the blind faithful will spin this one.

Yeah, uh, no.
But, as an aside, it is entertaining seeing you attempt to put together a coherent thought.

And this is where my skepticism gets the best of me.
They may say they don’t want war but all their opinions belie that. If they talk about trade sanctions that is an act of war.
As far as taxes that does not impress me as long as at the same time he increased spending with Romney Care, etc. It’s not just about taxes but also the other side of the coin - spending - the hidden tax.

I’m a bottom line guy.
No sane person wants war. You can think what you like but these are people and people have to live with the consequences of their decisions. And when they turn out the light at night they think about things just like you and I do.
I could tell you all the great things that Romney did as Governor, head of the Olympics and in the private sector. But, I’ve been saying these things on this forum for about 5 months now. All I’ll say for now is he’s far, far better than Obama. Not even close. And those who say there is no difference are either liberals trying to take the steam out of the Romney candidacy, or the truly uninformed.
There’s nothing wrong being a bit skeptical. I think you know my attitued toward politicians. But, with that said, someone is going to be the President it’s either going to be Romney or Obama. We all know what Obama has done, and without the electorate to answer to he’ll even move further to the left. I think that we can all agree on that. So, while I am skeptical of politicians I look at it as hiring a new person. The one we have stinks, let’s give a new person a chance. If he blows it we have 2016 to elect someone else.
And that is my main argument with the Ron Paul supporters. I get it, you like Ron Paul! But Ron Paul is NOT going to be the nominee. He just isn’t beating Romney, it’s all over. So who do you want to be President?
If you’re happy with Obama then keep running Romney into the ground and maybe Obama will win a second term. If you are not happy with Obama then you should stop the Ron Paul nonsense and get on the Romney bandwagon.
Or…you get Obama again.
Simple.

Shall I go on?
Are the Veterans unsatisfied with their government run healthcare? How about the folks on Medicare and Medicaid? And of the polls you posted did they interview people on government run healthcare and include them in the overall satisfaction of the healthcare system?
And I was born in this country and will stay and fight for what I believe is fair and equitable. Should minorities and women have moved out of this country and gone somewhere else where they were able to participate?
The capitalist system? Is that what we have? No. What we have are monopolies where we only have the choice THEY decide to give us. This is no free market my friend.
So in your basic view of economics (competition) as it relates to healthcare you believe we will actually pay less. Bwahahaha! It’s funny how dogmatic one’s ideology can make them look so blind. Their is so much prima facie evidence to the contrary debating it would be like trying to have a conversation with a rock.
And my suggestion to you is to get your face out of books that attempt to teach a theory and take a look around at it’s real world application. But then again people like you are only concerned with winning and not the truth.

Not only don’t Americans want Obamacare they don’t much care for Obama when it comes to economics. Did you read the latest polling on that one?
Your hero took a serious beating. It seems that there is a growing number of Americans who don’t think obama knows his ass from first base when it comes to the economy…or health care.
Now why do you suppose they think that?
Give it a rest Zeppers…socialism isn’t going to get a foothold in the US.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. If you cannot catch the major difference between the two parites you are much farther gone than I thought.
And I’m not even going to explain the differences to you, I think 3 times is plenty - I’m done.
You let me down. I should have to listened to Thunderbolt he told me not to waste my time with you. But no…I had to respond.

Do you even realize that the top 1%, the group that the Occupy lazy cry babies complain about pay 37% of ALL income tax? And the top 10% pay 70% of all income tax. Now tell how the government is taking “our money” as you say and giving it to them?

Well, I don’t know where you fall financially, nor is it any of my business. But I’m sure you can imagine how frustrated the top 10% of income earners are. They pay more than their fair share (70% of all income tax) and at the same time get attacked by the socialist in the White House who says he wants even more!
