If a State violates an individual’s rights, Congress cannot remove his right to defend his rights in a Federal jurisdiction.
I find it distinctly amusing, that orion, the self-appointed guardian of our Constitutional rights, applauds this measure, but finds the NDAA objectionable because he imagines it deprives individuals of their rights. Is it because Dr. Paul can do no wrong, to orion and other Paulbots?
As for Paul, he repeatedly violates his own skimpy principles; e.g., he would Federalize abortion law, rather than allow States their legal and historical rights.
