Ron Paul on Face the Nation

The survey was about giving up their right to vote, not just selling their ballot in this upcoming election. 20% would give up their right to vote for a fucking ipod. I hope this survey was severely manipulated like you say it probably is Zap, and not an accurate representation of the way the students truly feel.

Many of the students who answered this survey probably do not see the purpose of voting. Up until recently I could almost sympathize with them. At least getting an iPod is something tangible and not just an ideological action that results in the same outcome. At least it will help them tune out and ignore the fuck-ups who control this country.

It is a sad thought, though.

And they won’t be turning out for Ron Paul in much greater numbers. His support is softer than a porn star who just finished work for the day.

Who cares?

You care HORION, that’s why you spend so much time trying to offer up your feeble support.

But I do not care how many people get right now that he is right about most issues.

Sooner or later the message will spread like the truth allways spreads:

The old fools die and take their misguided ideas with them and the young wonder how anyone could ever have been so stupid.

He carries the torch right now and that is what is important.

And for believing that Paul is the wonder boy for your imaginary world makes you a bigger dip shit than I originally thought.

No wait…that’s impossible.

Ron Paul is not important, the message is.

I do not care if people who do not even understand the economic ideas his political ideas are based on think he is a nutjob.

Cheap ad hominems to not hide a lack of knowledge and are less impressive than you think.

So far the “Paul is a nutjob” crowd has shown an understanding of the link between economics and politics that is underwhelming to say the least, and a reason to hang their heads in shame for so called “conservatives”.
Mick28 wrote:

That’s only one reason why about 97% of the country is rejecting Paul.

Make that 95% of the country…

We could say that is splitting hairs, but to almost double is worth mentioning. I don’t really care to look for the link, but I have also heard he’s polling at 8% in NH.

And neither are you. And your reputation on this forum is no higher than Ron Pauls national ranking, minus the fraudulent Internet polls.

There’s only one problem with that-It’s the people who DO understand sound economic ideas that think he’s a nut job.

Cheap ad hominems to not hide a lack of knowledge and are less impressive than you think.

So are anti-American scum bags like yourself. Who try daily to pass themselves off as something that they’re not.

You fucking idiot. There are no economists worth their weight in numbers who think that Paul has any sort of a grasp on economic issues.

That’s only one reason why about 97% of the country is rejecting Paul.

And one good reason why Paul backers here on T Nation should think twice about Paul is your support for him. You hate America and prove it almost daily with your attacks.

And you want Paul to become President.

Ha ha…No really that should just about be enough right there to give Lift, Nommy and the others pause to think twice about Paul.

Really…you’re one twisted hateful bag of shit.
His economic views are allmost textbook Austrian economics.

I´d like to see “economists worth their weight in numbers” refute his arguments.

I think it is worth mentioning that Alan Greenspan has a lot of the exact same positions and even published them in some of Ayn Rands books.

There are his views on the gold standard, de-regulation, socialiced medicine/education and so on.

Oh wait, Friedman shares the same position, minus the gold standard, yet von Mises was very pro gold standard, while also sharing most, if not all, of his views.

Well, von Mises developed them, so this is hardly a surprise.

Anyway, I am waiting with baited breath for your list of economic heavyweights and why exactly they think Ron Paul is wrong.

I’ve read solid polling data that places him between 97% and 93%.

Usually closer to 97%.

And that’s why I said ABOUT 97%.

Either way, he’s not winning. And he’s not even going to be a threat to the winner.

So?
If he runs as a Libertarian he will be the Republicans Ralph Nader and ruin any chances for a Republican candidate.

Actually, that would require less than 3-5% and he has more than enough money.

So, he is a real threat.

Not that any Republican save Ron Paul could win this election.

Care to correct him auf deutsch, micky?

He asked about who can debate Paul in economics and you reply with a spelling correction?

I think we know who is irrelevant.

By your standards quantum mechanics and relativity should also be irrelevant.

Just because people have not become acquainted with the truth doesn’t make something irrelevant or untrue.

Intellectual revolutions are slow to catch on; but thankfully due to advances in technology these revolutions have a much wider margin for success.

Nein, auf Deutsch buchstabiert man es “f a s t”.

Wieso?

Now that is a killer argument right there.

Especially after Clinton/Bush/Perot 1992, Bush/Nader/Gore and Florida 2000 and Bush/Kerry/Nader and Ohio 2004.

You do not get it.

The Earth is flat, the Sun revolves around it and Galilei and Columbus are fringe lunatic madmen for suggesting otherwise.

People, people in authority, no less, hell, the Pope even, have decreed so and Mick28 is their faithful and devoted servant.
