Exactly. NOTHING else in the Bush Administration and the Republican controlled Congress pissed me off more than that monstrous piece of socialistic entitlement horseshit. THAT in an of itself told me the GOP was just slightly to the right of the Jackass Party and was not serious about fiscal conservatism and constitutional limits of power.
It was sheer vote pandering.
Indeed, and it is a big reason why I am not a Republican. And frankly, as much as I complain about Obama’s approach to entitlements/deficits, the GOP enabled it. Since “deficits didn’t matter”, the non-Republican to take office was entitled to adopt the same motto, and the GOP has to accept some of the blame.
Santorum can’t wear the cape of “entitlement reform/get the deficit under control” in 2012, despite the fact that the country requires this in a candidate as an alternative to Obama’s “American path to Greece”, and nor can any other Republican responsible for or associated with that poor excuse for responsible governance - including the GOP’s new “wonder boy” on fiscal conservatism Paul Ryan (“how does the Representative from Wisconsin vote on Medicare Part D? He votes ‘aye’!”).

Investors flee Carbonite after Limbaugh announcement:
Yesterday Obama was talking about his daughters and about how he called Ms Fluke the LGBTQ advocate against heterosexists who won’t provide free sex change operations. A reporter asked him about Bill Maher’s comments and million dollar contribution to Obama’s campaign. Obama ignored the question and solicited another journalist from CNN to ask him a different question.
And Louis C K. Democrat hack liberal “comedian.” Louis C K will be the headlining act at the 16th Annual Radio and Television Congressional Correspondents Association Dinner. This is what Louis C K said about Sarah Palin in 2010:
“Her(Sarah Palin) baby was one-year-old. It doesn’t matter that it’s retarded at that age…When she was standing on that stage at the fking convention and holding a baby that just came out of her fking disgusting ct - her fking retard making ct(laughs) - and she held it up and said this is really hard raising this. Really? It’s a baby, stick your fking tit in its mouth.(more laughter)”
The level of filth and hypocrisy from the left is staggering.
Sorry but Louis CK is hilarious for the most part. Vulgar, yes, but he has some awesome comedy and is not a hack.

Absolutely. I like the one about Michelle Obama…remember that one? No? Well it’s all in good taste though isn’t it?

Tell me something, folks in the know - why all the hubbub over which candidate “wins” a particular state when that state awards its delegates on a proportional basis?
The folks not in the know jump on the popular vote train.
It just seems so doggone disingenuous to claim a “BIG WIN!!” for Romney in Ohio when because of the proportional delegate award process he barely gets just a few more delegates for the convention.
The real loser last night was the republican national committee for concocting such an asinine way of dividing the delegates. If they did this the old fashion way Romney would be the clear winner by now and the race would be over.
They are idiots. This process does not help defeat Obama. All it does is keep everyone in the race as they all feel they have a chance given the new system. And this causes damage to the republican party as they slug it out for a miniscule number of delegates each time thus damaging the eventual winner in both their pocket books and reputations. And it further divides the party between the final contenders. Most likely to the point where someone who is a die hard Santorum or Gingrich fan will have a difficult time voting for Romney. They wanted to prevent what happened four years ago giving McCain the early win. But they far over stepped their original goal. I assure you that this will be the first and last time delegates are decided in this way.
It truly makes me sick. Obama sits there on top of a pile of money untouched and the three leading candidates continue to attack each other depleting their resources. Obama truly is the luckiest man who ever lived.
You are right. All states should be winner take all, the award you get for running a better campign, having better ideas…
Plus Virginia needs to fix its asinine qualifaction process. Look how many voters got disenfranchised by not being able to vote for the candidates of their choice
You are right. All states should be winner take all…

I disagree. I like the county by county scenario. It makes it much more grassroots IMO.
I also disagree with Zeb. His approach would make the first few states with primaries THE decision makers for the entire country. I’m old fashioned - leave things alone. Every county/parish/borough in the country should be essentially participatory.

Why in the world would you vote for Romney over Obama? Romney has sworn to end Obamacare, (with no good reason not to), lower taxes and cut spending. He also is the only republican candidate with executive experience.
What’s wrong with you Trib? Romney’s not the perfect conservative better you stay home and allow Obama another four years.

Not off hand, was it something about her ass? Ummm nothing Louis Ck does is in good taste so not sure if you’re being facetious or for real with that comment (he takes a lot of jokes about kids right up to the cliff). I really hope you weren’t trying to find some counterbalance with him telling jokes about a democrat figure versus a republican one cause really who gives a shit.
Santorum lost the primary IMO when he started working the Puritan angle, rather than trying to talk about practical issues like jobs and the economy. You may hate the idea of gay marriage or legal abortions, but those just aren’t the biggest problems confronting America right now. Besides, everybody already knows where Santorum stands on those issues. Unfortunately, Santorum can’t stop talking about other peoples’ sex lives, and that’s why he was dumped by Pennsylvania voters… people got sick of him grandstanding on morality, while appearing to neglect bread&butter issues. Focusing on issues like contraception (really? in 2012?) makes people wonder if you may be a little weak when it comes to foreign policy issues, and economic issues.
No. Louis C K doesn’t make jokes about Michelle Obama because he’s a liberal hack.
Anyone who said what he said above about Sarah Palin and her daughter(or any woman) is a disgusting piece of trash.

Who gives a shit if a comedian is liberal or conservative? If its funny its funny. You may immediately dismiss his work because he leans liberal but that just means you miss out on some great material that has nothing to do with a political stance. Sure the Palin thing is offensive, most of his style is but that’s the point.
Ever heard his rant on how offensive it is that people stuff fast food and stimulants, chemicals into their kids and then beat them for being hyper? Its actually spot on rhetoric and funny to boot.
