Lol. Now we have two circuses to watch :). If we get back to the topic at hand, I think RJ has a point in saying that Winny would probably be the LAST choice a pitcher would want to take. Granted, Clemens did get better as he got older, but at the same time, Winny probably would have made him no better, maybe even worse- that joint pain would have torn him apart during games.

Winny is famous for “drying out” the joints/tendons making them brittle. Clemens puts ungodly stress on his shoulder and elbows when he throws his 90 MPH curve. I really don’t see how making an already stressed joint more at risk would ever be a good thing.
If he were going to take a PED, I would think something like Deca would be much better for him.

Just thought id jump into this and throw my 2 cents in 
as a pitcher like RJ said, a stupid amount of stress gets put on your shoulder and elbow joints along with the tendons. i used winstrol and other types of AAS while playing shhhh! and lets just put it this way i had to have tommy john surgery IMO as a result of my stupidity for not doing my own research and taking the winstrol. Now granted i didnt throw quite as hard or as much as the rocket but i could hit mid 90’s and i think the stress of pitching plus the winstrol hurt terribly. winstrol= horrible choice for a pitcher. end of story.

And yes, you probably do know more about AAS than me as you’re older and have more experience with them, but it’s not as if I’m severly lacking in knowledge in this area. I know enough about it from the few years I’ve been researching, but I don’t claim to be a vet. You think you’ve got me pinned off one sentence… And there are undoubtedly other people who know more about it than you do, you need to be humbled.
