Yeah I admit part of me wants to go see it. Its Rocky, duh. But cmon when are we gonna say enough is enough? During Rocky 7, is he going to be coming out in a wheelchair? Special Olympics boxing? Is Rocky gonna beat a tard to death? Rocky 8, Rocky vs. Satan? The battle for eternity? Cmon.
I find it highly unlikely that Rocky being the age he is could compete with a man half his age and probably quadruple his t-levels. It would take years from Rocky to be in competition shape.

BTW, I still wanna see it.
We’ll probably stop going to see Rocky flicks when they can actually produce movies of that genre that are better.
I just saw “Superman Returns” and IT SUCKED! It should have been called “Lois Lane Returns.” I know it’s not a fight film but come on it’s SUPERMAN! That was an estrogen romp in the park and I almost puked sitting through that awful piece of crap.
I almost started a thread on how lousy that movie is…
Okay…so that’s why everyone is looking forward to another Rocky. Even when they’re bad they’re still good!

Dude, if they make Rocky vs. Satan and it doesn’t make $500M, there is something wrong with our planet.
I’m definitely going to be first in line for this movie…how many of us can honestly say they haven’t had the Rocky IV soundtrack on during a workout at some point in their lifting career?
That computer simulated fight in the beginning reminds me of “The Super Fight” movie they did in the early 70’s, where they simulated a fight between Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali.
The computer simulation determined that Marciano would knock out Ali in the 13th round.
Ali commented “That computer was made in Alabama.”

I wonder if they’ll use the quote in the movie.
As much as I love Ali, that computer was right.
Although there was probably no better witty retort than, “It was made in Alabama”.

I have “The Rocky Story” and routinely listen to “Gonna Fly Now”, “Training Montage” and “War” from that master of motivational soundtracks, Vince DiCola.

GASP! is that a Kettlebell? Damn! You beat me to it.
Sign of the apocalypse: Rocky Balboa does kettlebell presses. (45 seconds into the trailer.)
Those pull-ups were looking kinda iffy too, but, whatever. Chain lateral raises seemed like a clever idea though.
I think this one’s definitely a “rent at Blockbuster” flick, and not a “rush out and see on opening night” flick.
I was kinda digging those funky pushups with the medicine ball. C’mon, who doesn’t want to throw all good sense and reason to the wind and plunk down the cash to see The Italian Stallion? Deep down in each of us who grew up watching those movies as a kid still probably has a small part that wants to see it. That part of you that sparred with your friends after seeing Rocky III. Hell, I do. lol
Those funky pushups are a staple in a lot of boxers and kickboxers training. 3 Years of Thai Kickboxing.
we also have to remember, and i think people are already letting this slip in…that just cuz stallone is “60” doesnt mean that rocky is. i think in the movie his son is going to be something like early 20’s, which could make rocky reasonably 45ish…wasnt foreman back in the ring at like 43?

Isn’t it? It is one of those songs that when it kicks in on my iPod at the gym, I can reach just juuuuust a little bit deeper to find something extra for the next set.
