Rob's 2017 Contest Prep Thread

Some good strength this week in the gym. Squats felt great a few days ago, my fifth and last set was 315 for 12, slow and deep. Yesterday for chest with incline DB presses I was able to get two sets of 105’s for 12. Weight is sitting at 158-159, I’m surprised that it’s not higher given the amount of carbs/cals I’ve been eating, but training hard and utilizing my Indigo-3G and Micro PA I’m sure is helping. Also taking Carbolin-19.

Abs and vascularity are still solid, definitely the best off-season shape I’ve ever had. Going to keep on this road until September, when the wife and I are going to do a prep-style mini cut, as I am a fan of cyclical bulking, that’ll be a good time to dial back for a little while before going back to maintenance/surplus.
