Robocop vs. Terminator

I’m waiting for The Thing VS The Blob. The two characters with such distinct and determined personalities, it’ll be a guaranteed hit.

Again, been done in comic book format more than once a decade ago with great results.

But don’t expect Hollywood to take something that works and run with it, noooo…

I dunno, I don’t really like crossovers myself. Part of the character is the environment they inhabit, and when you have a crossover at least one of the characters is going to be missing a major part of himself, so they often seem hollow or absurd.

As popcorn as it was, I thought the Freddy vs Jason movie was actually a decent attempt. Yes, it could have been better (as most of us are grown up now if we were kids when those movies came out), but overall, it wasn’t pure crap. If I was in junior high (and had to sneak in to see it), I’m sure I would have thought it was great.

FvsJ was done well. Its difficult to being those two together. Of all the scripts that were considered that one made the most sense. I enjoyed it. Nice touch of comedy and for horror icons, they had some good fights (The steel mill and the boiler room) Those two fights were done very well.
