T IS definitely helping them. VERY evidently- bare in mind I’m only 5 weeks in and I’m not dialled in by any stretch yet - too much swings between high and low and I know I’m getting a bit too much aromatisation as my tits are sore and the tamoxifen wasn’t helping mood either.
A summary of what has improved:
ED is virtually cured except for 48 hours a couple of days back. Libido is back- I’d literally completely lost interest in sex before. Im 38!
Brain fog is sooooo much better- you say its not working for me- if you read my log you’ll see I’ve mentioned this is improving. Watching films again etc and am able to concentrate on a conversation etc. Had a meal out without zoning out of every conversation and feeling exhausted last week.
Anxiety is virtually gone. It was becoming crippling before!
I can exercise again without feeling like I’m 70 and about to fall apart for 2 weeks afterwards and sore for weeks after 1 run or ride. In fact I’m training every day so this is huge.
Fatigue is a LOT better but not fixed yet- I’ve mentioned fatigue as it was the tipping pointthat was poor life quality- I’d been gradually getting worse inmany symptom areas and this was the final crunch.
I’m borderline HYPERTHYROID. I’ve had multiple thyroid panels and I’m not low.
However all the medical literature does say high thyroid does send SHBG up- my SHBG is high and has been demonsttatably for 2 years. Its clearly having a Knock-on effect on my sex hormones.
I’m choosing to explore this as I’d rather do this and drive my SHBG down with T than to take meds to suppress my thyroid.
I’ve had EVERY Low T symptom in the book for a few years- including growing tits (again a HYPERthyroid symptom- SHBG knock-on). Low Thyroid doesn’t cause that.
One other thing- a month ago I wouldn’t want to reply and disagree with you. I do however respectfully disagree. Thanks for the input though- I’m not doing anymore Thyroid panels, its been ruled out many a time by my GP when complaining about fatigue and I’m at the other end of the scale to low thyroid.
I’ve had EVERY test under the sun under the NHS, the one thing thay keeps coming back is high SHBG and free T right at bottom end.
