Honestly, looking at the people who are performing these acts of littering, vandalism and civil diobedience?
These are the people who the left represent? Shameful. Isn’t there another way to do this? Like at their own convention?
To me, all it does is show how lame a lot of the Democratic following are, and that they are actually hurting the Democratic vote. Do any of these people even pay taxes?
I hope the holding areas are very large. Don’t these people know we are already slowly handing back control to Iraqi people? I guess not, because then they would not have anything to do. They are calling on an escalation of their acts of civil disobedience and violence today.
last I checked most of the protesters were not vandalizing. A small contingent of self-called “anarchists” are pretty much going batshit crazy out there though.
One thing that bothered me was when the GOP decided to postpone…CSPAN showed the RNC on the menu view and I clicked on it. It was anti war and Government speeches instead. The title on the screen still said Republican Nat’l Convention…and this white dude dressed like a Black Panther was yelling and screaming…about Bush, war, our oppressive nation etc…

I’m pretty sure I saw some on the news. They hate the dems just as much, after all. Anyways, how do you clog streets, restricting the travel of other citizens, and not expect a confrontation with police?

I don’t get it. Don’t these people have jobs, school, etc…? I mean, I certainly can’t take a week off to go run amok at the RNC.
How did these people get there? Did they drive? Fly? Train? That costs money… Where are they staying at? A hotel nearby? Where are they getting money to eat? Where did they get the money to be able to protest for a week?
If I were to take a week off to go jerk off at the RNC, I wouldn’t have a job, home, or anything to come back to. Who is funding these shenanigans?
