Aww you look so happy!.. you can tell that you intend to pig out in a couple days
I like Greek gods and I like bulking… I’m not picky haha

I don’t know what half the things you eat are, but I’m intrigued. Pumpkin bread (everyone should know that I love pumpkin) and PB flour… now, this interests me. I’m assuming that it’s low carb since you have it in the evening.
Sounds like something to add to my evening protein pancakes. If only I’ll be able to find it…

Looking good man! Especially the relaxed back.

I certainly am happy! I like contest shape women, although I prefer a bit of meat on them bones (as long as there’s muscle also)!

Who doesn’t love pumpkin bread?! PB flour is truly awesome, it’s got 16g protein/trivial carbs/4g fat–they have it at trader joe’s. I literally found it THE DAY before my show when I was buying champaign and a bunch of junk food, this would have made contest prep a lot easier!

Thanks boss! Honestly, as much as I like lifting heavy, I can hardly wait to do some hypertrophy for width!

hypertrophy for width?

pfff…bodybuilders…

I’ll call you when I’m contest shape lol ;D

Well, you gave me the idea to look up some nut flours and my search led me to this awesome site. I’m going to buy some coconut flour (it’s also great prices, less than $4 a pound), 6 grams of fiber, 4 net carbs, sounds like it’ll be PERFECT for my protein pancakes.
Yes, that will be sexy-time haha

Only thing I hate is the holiday is slowing down delivery time

coconut flour is awesome! great banana bread and great for protein bars…thats all i have.

Soooo hard to resist commenting on which half is perfect…but I won’t, since you’re cool N

Chi, lookin solid bro. Maybe someday I can look as beastly as you, haha!

Have a great feasting tomorrow, and kill it in 2011!

Thanks for all the comments. Today I got thirty minutes of shoveling and thirty minutes of walking in. I’m ready to start lifting after a week of keeping it light!

DF: I know it might be hard for you folks in strength camp to believe… but some people lift not only for strength, but aesthetics also!

Nikki: I’ll look forward to seeing you in contest shape. Let me know how to coconut protein pancakes treat you!

Timmyo: I’ll have to take your word for it and grab some myself.

AC: Hell yeah!

N: And here I thought I was damn near perfect  Happy holidays.

Ink: Thanks man, maybe someday I’ll meet my own standard for beastly! Killed lots of food, look out for my dip vid tomorrow!

pshaw, this aesthetic enough for you?

nah, hope you realize I’m just dickin around, one of my best friends back in Arkansas is in the bodybuilding game. Keep up the good work here my man.

Certainly nothing to sneeze at hoss! And, yes I tried to return your humor in kind–perhaps I should have added a smiley to display my light demeanor.

haha fair enough, I dont always recognize sarcasm back at me. What are your plans right now, shows on the horizon, etc?

I want big numbers in all the big lifts, it’d be cool if I can keep improving around ~200lbs–like hungry–because I compete at 175. I’m planning on competing again next fall, but it all depends how I’m looking in July. I’d like to be able to make marked improvements in my overall package before I get back on stage. Competing in a raw PL meet would be awesome, although my numbers suck. I see you using a shirt sometimes, do you have any PL meets coming up?

great work… keep it up!!

There is one in Arkansas in March that I would like to do, it just depends on my schedule with law school. Jackson MS is about 6.5 hours from where the meet would be, so I would need to not have any school work that weekend so I could take the time off. If not then, then in the summer.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” (Matthew 7:7)

MID: Welcome and thank you for the kind words and encouragement, it means a lot to me.

DF: Hope that meet works out, perhaps you can get someone to drive that way you have ~13 hours of work in on the road. Looking forward to seeing the results of your competition!!

Monday: Big Five Strength Test
A) Front Squats 135x some, 165x3, 195x3, 225x1, 245x10 (Rep PR!)

B) Incline Bench 135x some, 185x5, 225x10 (Rep PR!)

C) Dead Stop BB Row 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 255x10 (Rep PR!)

E) Pull ups BWx3, 45x3, 90x3

Notes attaching some videos, I got robbed on my front squat and BB row vids. On the latter, I had to reset a couple times and he stopped recording at rep 6. And on my FS my training partner was expecting me to do a triple… My fault for not being clear.

Anyways, I was expecting around six for my front squat, I begin to count down from six. Once I reach six he turns the camera back on, I proceed to count down from 4 for a total of ten. Hopefully that clears things up–if you think I’m BS’ing, I’m sure I’d be exposed when I can’t reach my percentages.

Tummy action! I’m not sure if my ROM is legit, I come down to around 90 degrees and lock out.

There’s a glare from the snow outside; you should be able to see the plates and a dime as I prepare for the lift. Ink, it looks like I’ve got a jumpstart on you bro!

Nice! Helluva lot stronger than me. Keep at it man!
