RIP Charlie Kirk

Easy conclusions can, quite often, be incorrect ones as well. Much like how, at the time I wrote the post, the shooter WAS still at large

I did not either on multiple things.

I still don’t see the need for saying, ā€œoh but he wasn’t niceā€ or some other such nonsense.

He seemed pretty fucking nice to me. A lot nicer than I would be to any of them.

There was no need for Charlie Kirk to say mean things.

Nor is there a need for you to say he seemed nice.

Does every statement need to warrant an argument?

What mean things did he say? I still haven’t seen that. Unless it was just a position someone didn’t agree with.

Do you always have to come in with shit takes while being a loser in life?

I’m tired of leftist scum justifying their violence against us.

Saying shit like ā€œhe said mean thingsā€ is downplaying the severity of what happened.

ā€œThe murder and violence against others for holding different beliefs than you is unacceptable.ā€
No ā€œbut he was mean sometimesā€, or ā€œhe said that one thing I didn’t likeā€.
Full stop, its wrong.

The phrasing matters.

I never lose Bauber. I never lost my virginity.

Then go do something about it.

Right now, we’re using words.

For half the country’s sake, you should hope it stays that way.

Nah, I think we should team up and take over Israel.

Not something a smart person does on print media.

.

No way you could possibly know this, but the last guy I knew that said the same things you do shot up a synagogue in Pittsburgh.

So far I’ve seen reports of an anchor from MSNBC and some staff member from Middle Tennessee State University being fired for their positive reactions to the assassination.

Well that’s a terrible act.

Yeah. Ridiculous tragedy.

His name is Robert Bowers. Currently resides on death row. You should look him up.

He said virtually the same exact things as you’ve said in your last few posts about isreal, to me- about 30 years ago.

Just a heads up on where that thinking can lead to.

Smart man.

Just catching up on the thread and behind updates as I scroll, but I want to clarify that a 200 yard shot is nothing. And, the shooter likely missed a headshot by half a foot or more. For the record, assuming a headshot was the goal, this was pretty terrible shooting from 200 yards with a ā€œhigh poweredā€ rifle.

This isn’t the cynic in you, it’s an aversion to feeling responsible for indirectly taking part in a subculture that uses threats of jail, ā€œcancellationā€, violence…. and now actual violence to oppress dissenting voices while crying about fascism and freedom.

It almost seems somewhat believable because everything seems to be a top down hierarchy, but it’s just a conspiracy theory.

I’ve watched a dude who I went to high school with go from Trumper to Antisemitic.

Reposting AI videos of a Jewish Trump , then complaining on instagram….definitely different than murdering innocents in a synagogue.

Thanks for sharing.

30-06 drops about 3.5 to 4 inches at 200 yards when zero’d at 100. I agree that he went for a headshot and hit the neck due to lack of proper elevation hold.

I have not either until now and all of the disgusting posts I see about Charlie Kirk on social media.

Yeah, its pretty wild. Same story, different levels of technological sophistication.

It has been happening for a long time, but you can assemble little bits and pieces of things that are true and real, and present them as something that has very little, if anything to do with reality.

Relevance to the conversation and this thread is that it results in dead bodies.

I call it ā€œDan Brown’ingā€ a subject, cuz he did that beautifully with The DaVinci Code, but the same technique has been used to get people killed for a long time.

Thought I saw it hit his chest, right on heart, but bounced off bullet proof vest and hit neck.
