I also like the name “Marisa”, pronounced maREEsa. But I had my heart shattered by a beautiful woman named Marisa several years ago and I’d prefer not to remind myself of her in any way at all.

Friend had a couple sets.of twins in her class:
Female (fa-molly) and Male (Mal-le) mom thought the hospital had named the kids
Orangejello and Lemonjello

I believe you also called him old in the same post lol. :stuck_out_tongue:

Knew a bloke in school called Simon David. Had a brother named David David who left before I joined.

There is of course Neville Neville who has some pretty talented kids - Neville Neville - Wikipedia

Of all the names in the world why would you give the same name as your surname?

I wouldn’t see it as being a dick, really. It was funny as hell and I wish I had thought of it first.

There are tons of these in Japanese, if you’re ever looking for something novel.[/quote]

Do these names sound like English?

Nice avatar pal.

Looks cute on you.

I worked with a guy named Thomas Thomas. his middle name was Thomas - I called him Triple T.

I knew a guy named Scott Lund in HS

I once new an asian man named Dang Bang. I don’t think his parents thought he would one day move to the US.

I used to work with a girl named Tuba.
She was from Turkey and apparenty, Tuba, is a relatively common girls name.
And there was an ice skater named Tuba (from Turkey) in the last Winter Olympics.
We all thought the name Tuba was ridiculous, but she was a nice (and smart) kid.

I met a guy in college whose name was Phuk Huyn.

I also really like the name of the NASCAR driver Dick Trickle. It’s like that Johnny Cash song about a boy named Sue… When your parents give you a comical name like that, it forces you to be really good at something.

I knew a girl who changed her name to Know One. It wasn’t surprising or even weird given she was one of my hippie friends, but she was hard to talk about.

My mom worked for the Social Security Administration. The worst one she ever mentioned was Treblinka.

If you don’t get what’s wrong with that, google it.

And I worked with a guy named Bruce Bruscoe. He was just as cartoony as the name implies.

My brother worked with a woman named Bluette. What’s worse is she ONLY wore blue.

Oh, I went to high school with Rainbeau Mars.
