Hey guys,
Lurker here. been checking the forums for a while but got a question I couldn’t find an answer too.
I’m a shift worker and it goes as follows: 5days on, 5 days off, 5 nights on, 5 days off. Repeats with random overtime.
Due to the shifts (12 hours days) I only work out on the off days. I got a nifty overtraining routine that I do and restup during the 5 days off. It works well for me with decent gains.
Question: I took a blood test and was pretty low on Test (10, normal range is 8-29).
26 year old Male,
6’3" 230lbs, ~17%BF.
I was going to set it up like this: Rez-V morning (max dose), Alpha Male nights (Max dose 4 tabs). Do this for 5 days on and during the 5 days off get off of the supps. Suggestions?
My diet is super clean, kcals at 3300 a day and 350G pro.
Thanks.

I think you would be better off doing the Alpha Male 5 days per week and the Rez-V 2 days per week. I have been doing this and it seems to be working very well for me. You will need to cycle off the Alpha Male for 2 days per week anyways, might as well fill those days with the Rez-V.

^^ Hmm. I heard CT recommended the Rez-V in the morning and Alpha Male at night. In my original plan I was going to take 5 days off from the Alpha Male at a time. I could do 5 days Alpha Male, 5 days Rez-V, always using the Alpha Male during workout days.
I would take it everyday. Those supplements are designed to increase natural production of hormones. Going on and off of them would more than likely be a waste of money in my opinion. I would take both as suggested every day.

Take it however you want, but the Alpha Male bottle states:
"Do not exceed six tablets in any 24-hour period and do not exceed cycling guidelines. IMPORTANT CYCLING INFORMATION: Use in cycles that include five days on and two days off per week.
CYCLING EXAMPLE A: Take four days on and one day off, followed by three days on and one day off, repeat (4/1, 3/1; 4/1, 3/1…). CYCLING EXAMPLE B: Take five days on followed by two days off, repeat (5/2; 5/2…). ALLOW UP TO FOUR WEEKS TO ATTAIN FULL EFFECTS."
This has worked well for me for a very long time. But like I said, take it however you want.
Whatever works best for somebody I’d always suggest to stick with it. Everybody is different and we all react differently to supplements/food.
this is what is in Alpha Male:
“Biotest® Super-Concentrated Extracts (Tribulus terrestris, Vitex agnus castus, Eurycoma longifolia), Carbolin 19?19 (forskolin 1,9-carbonate)”
I personally do not see a need to “cycle” any of these supplements. I’d like to know why Biotest suggests that, they probably have a good reason and I could be wrong. I just see no point in cycling a bunch of herbs, if anything taking them for extended periods of time would render them weaker because the body has adapted to them.

Interesting. I’m just a little concerned that if I cycle the 5/2 Some of the off days will land on a Workout day because of my 5/5 schedule. But I guess test levels couldn’t plummet that quick still taking Rez-V. I will try the regular cycle/Dose with Rez-V on the 2 off days. I’ll report my findings.
