Nope, she is just eleven. A little young to be with the young T-Nation crowd. But she has started lifting with me. They have a weight and machine section for 10 and older at the rec center. She has started keeping a log (which she keeps in my car) and making progress.
Failed on the leg press three times in a row. Finally hit it, though at reduced weight. At the end, I did not have the legs completely wobbly result I usually get. Need to go back Monday and hit it again.
On the other hand, my eleven year old is making real progress on the kids machines (which are usually used by adults, I’ve noticed). Has one at max now.
