Resting Glucose Came Back as 101 with a Normal Range of 70-99

Yeah, I’m not going to worry about this. My googling suggest this puts me pretty much right smack dab in the middle of the bell curve.

4.8 is actually better than average and there is no benefit in it being any lower. I’d say 4.8-5.1 is “gold” while 5.2-5.3 is not concerning.

Keep in mind that A1C only estimates blood sugar. People can have higher or lower A1C because of how quickly they make an eliminate red blood cells. Fasting blood sugar can be slightly elevated in the morning for so many reasons that I would not be concerned about it at all with an A1C <5.4
