Rescue Me Season Finale

What do you guys think is going to happen? I just hope this isn’t the end of the show, because it looks to be setting up that way. this can’t be the end, can it??

No its not the end.

The show is getting intense though.

This has been probably the best season so far. The fastest hour on television.

And Nip/Tuck starts back up soon.

Hell yeah I love this show. Tommy is the best most layered character on TV…I’m thinking he’ll choose to stay with his ex wife, Lou will leave the dept with the nun, pro-b will become a priest, Tommy’s uncle will get a divorce…

I’ve put too much thought into this…the show better not end!

The Chief is not going to continue to be able to be the chief and they are going to offer it to Tommy. He will seriously thing about leaving the department and being with Sheila but in the end will come back to be with Janet. What a scumbag to leave that posthumous message for Johnny, I love it. I am so gay for this show.

He’s GOT to stay with his ex-wife. They’ve got kids together, he still loves her, it’s the honorable and right thing to do.

That said, I wouldn’t bet on it.

Who watched it last night? Thoughts?

I’m sure, absolutely positive, they will not kill off Tommy in that fire.

i absolutely want to bitch slap tommys cousins widow(forget the name). she is so inept its frustrating. i agree, no way hes goin down in the fire. i liked this season, i just think there pouring the drama on a little thick. i mean is someone gonna die like every season now. and if so, make it be the widow

I was laughing so hard I could not catch my breath when what’s-his-name couldn’t even stand up on the pier when him and his nun chick were going to spend the day on the boat.

I hate to sound cruel - but I hope they get the Puerto Rican guys’s daughter written out of the script.

They won’t kill Tommy off - but maybe they will kill off that psycho bitch cousin-in-law of his. Holy shit, she’s certifiable.

Yea, I see them killing her off too. She’s gone off the deep end.

Anyone want to offer a guess as to who the father is?

I say Tommy.

A TV show is about the only place that a firefighter would get an offer for a chiefs gig :-]

i think the baby is the dead brothers it makes for better tv. yeah tommys dead the main character is dead…that makes no sense. i hope they have more of the retarded brother the teretts (SP)thing is so damn funny.

a little off topic, but Bigflamer or anyone else who is a firefighter im just curious as to what u personally think of the show and how it portrays firefighting.

i ask b/c two of my uncles, one a retired chief, and another a LT, were/are in the FDNY and absolutely hate this show and say its extremely unrealistic. im not sure, but i also dont think they like how the firefighters are depicted. what do u think

all i can tell you is that every tuesday, most of the guys in my fire house would get together and watch it. as far as we are concerned, it’s just badass in general that theres a show based around a fire dept.

They get some things right, but for the most part, it’s a TV show. The comroderie of sitting around busting each others balls is dead on. Helping each other outside of work and such, that stuff is right.

But I mean, banging a chick on the chiefs desk?, that just doesn’t happen. Every firefighter knows that you have to bang the chick in the back of the rescue truck at around 2am or so when the Lt is fast asleep

Now, I’m married, so that precludes me from the reindeer games. I get the pleasure of standing watch.

The things you won’t do for your crew :-]

It’s usually watched in my station as well.

Its a fucking crime that leary didn’t win the emmy for best lead actor in a drama. Keifer Sutherland? Are you kidding me? Not that these awards mean anything, but the judges obviously do not even watch rescue me.

How accurate is the portrayal?

Mine as well. Usually for both hours…

I was coming home from vacation, driving 100 mph on 95 to make it home for Rescue Me. It is equal to The Shield in terms of being the best show on TV.

I’m not sure that they will renew Rescue Me for another season. I do want them to. The question I was asking myself is, did they kill Johnny (Tommy’s brother) off because the actor wanted to move onto things? Or did they kill him because they wanted him out of the show?

Finally, I don’t think he would stay with the ex wife, kids or not. If this was reality, and a mans wife got pregnant by his now deceased brother, there is no way that this man could ever live with, or stomach looking at her on a daily basis. Maybe before the death, but after I don’t see how a man could do it.
