Yeah, their selection is pretty limited. But if you do decide to go, a major in Chandler with a minor in Joey is your best bet.
I don’t fully understand your statement. Friends is a quaker university, not a jewish.

Oh, you wanted a Jewish university? Well, then Seinfeld State or Richard Jeni U. are the way to go.

This is a joke, right? If not, for a guy who took his screen name from a TV character, you seem strangely uninformed in the subject.

Oh, come on Zap, what can he do with a Rachel degree? He certainly doesn’t have the rack! At best, with a Monica minor, he could get a job as a sous chef, and our boy here wants to go into law enforcement.

Can you get a degree in Oatmeal?

Nyuck, nyuck… I kill me!

See, I have never watched friends. In fact, I don’t actually have service to my tv., Ijust watch movies on it. Cable is a big waste of time for me, if I am going to waste time, it will probably be on the internet. However, I used to watch the andy griffith show.

“OK, but you are aware that there is an invention called television, and that people watch shows on it?”

1 point for the reference (too easy for more than that).

OK, fair enough about how you spend your free time. Although, 1) Friends was a network show, no cable required and 2) with a 10 year run and some of the best ratings in television history, you gotta figure that mentioning “Friends” with a capital “F” is going to be associated with this show rather than an obscure university in Scarecrow, Missouri or wherever.

You will be happy to know, that even though I felt really bad about my graduation being delayed, I made the mature choice and chose not to get drunk last night.

My nomination for the above to be made a “Strong Words” quote.

Google the “top 30 online mba programs”. I know some major, reputable universities enable you to do all of your classes online. I know the school i went to for my undergraduate studies was number 30 on the list. Its a small private school in Ohio. The University of Findlay. However, there are some much bigger, well known Universities too, if thats what you are looking for. Just make sure when you graduate, your diploma doesn’t say “online mba”.

Ahh. Thats cool. When I graduated from my community college, they asked me what I wanted my degree in, and they would print it up.

Two reputable online schools are University of Phoenix and National University.

Which is exaclty why I am reconsidering wanting to work for the FBI. I may still enter the federal service, but with a different agency.
If you think about what the FBI does, it makes perfect sense. FBI agents are not cops, they are investigators. FBI agents are going to spend much more time chasing paper trails than cops who will be out there arresting criminals, and interviewing witnesses etc. The number one degree the FBI wants is Accounting, been this way for a VERY long time. (As is my understanding).

I briefly looked at University of Phoenix because they came and did a presentation at work, I had already decided to pursue my masters at a brick and mortar university so I was not that serious about it. When I researched, I found that UoP is accredited but there are MANY negative experiences listed online. I also checked around regarding how other employers and other university programs regarded online degrees. The response was very mixed, some look at all online degrees as being from degree mills and being utterly worthless, and some regard them as equivalent to a brick and mortar degree. Also, some of them are very expensive because they are for profit businesses.

Maybe he should be applying to online universities… oops I gave it away there, ies…

masters?

cough

I wont get my bachelors until this summer, so I have few months before I apply. Secondly, I also have to consider what department I will end up working for. If I join one of my choice departments, I won’t go to a boot camp style police academy, which will allow me to have my evenings free to work on online coursework. However, If I end up having to join the state troopers, then its like going to a 5 or 6 month boot camp, where you are taken completely out of society, and I wont have internet access. so I have to take that into consideration when choosing a masters program.

Pursuing an online degree is like chasing the female orgasm…sure, you may achieve it one day, but what is it really worth?
