Furthermore, I am appalled, appalled I say, that so called “Christians” would mock the idea of demons since Jesus cast out several himself and not even Paul ever said there were none.

So, demons it is, why would they not go the anal route?

I mean, how many ways to possess someone are there?

Finally, there seem to be midday and morning spirits, so either not all demons like to hide, or some just like the challenge of hiding in broad daylight.

When someone commits a mortal sin, they have permanently opened a door that forever allows a demon to attach it self to them. The reason the door is permanently opened is because had they not committed sin the demon would have no method to ever tempt them. Now if the door remains wide open from constant mortal sin the demon can come and go as he pleases. If the person chooses to close the door to shut the Holy Spirit out then the demon may remain. If the demon gains full authority of that person, then this is called demonic possession. Its not as if sodomy itself physically causes an opening of the anal rectum to allow for the demon, it is because the gravity of such sin is so serious because they have sinned against the holy spirit, shutting him out.

The swine were not possessed. The gerasene demonic was. Jesus casted the demons into swine to show them mercy. Notice also the swine ran into the water and drowned because demons like to dwell in water as i said:

So far, what I have is mortal sin, like repeatedly and unrepantently, but I am still in doubt whether homosexuality is indeed a mortal sin.

It definitely is not on Jesus list and the case that can be made for it seems to be somewhat contrived.

I thought I could go with deadly sins, but that does not really work because a deadly sin is not so much an extra heinous sin but more like a sin that leads to more sinning.

Looking at the CCs definition of mortal sin, which one can subscribe to or not, it is not clear that homosexuality is a mortal sin either.

In fact, the CC church teaches that you cannot know whether someone is in a state of mortal sin because some criteria are highly subjective and you cannot look into someones heart.

To claim that you can would be heresy and possibly blasphemy.

If around one third have fallen that leaves us with 133 million demons.

Problem is, even if they were hell bent on possessing sinners, there are quite a lot of sins apart from homosexual acts.

There are masturbators, adulterers, murderers, tax collectors and around 6-7 billion people.

Just running the numbers makes it appear to be highly unlikely that any given practicing homosexual is possessed at any given point in time.

Depends what you means by “homosexuality.” If someone is attracted sexually to the same sex, does it mean they have to commit sodomy? Feeling “gay” isn’t a mortal sin. Acting gay is (meaning homosexual sexual acts). Chastity is a virtue of the Angels. Just like heterosexual catholics, homosexual catholics are called to be chaste. Since there is no marriage in heaven anyway, doesn’t that mean you can be like an Angel and have a lot to look forward to?

Dunno, I am still trying to find out why homosexuality is considered a mortal sin.

The examples used are usually Sodom and Gomorrah, which does obviously not apply, Leviticus, which, if it does apply is forbidding specific acts (like touching a pig skin on saturday, herpdy derp) and Timothy, Corinthians and whatnot which, by there very nature are highly unreliable because anyone who translates anything from that time as “homosexual” tells us more about his cultural biases than about what was actually written.
