Replacing Eggs

Eggs are a big staple in what I eat day to do. Just recently, however, I’ve been getting sick of eating eggs so often and my body is starting to disagree with them also. So my question, Anyone have any ideas on what I could replace eggs with?

Meat?

Meat?

Meat!

Reaction to title:

But srs, if you don’t want to eat eggs…just eat meat.

I got sick of eggs too and now use a lot of nonfat greek yogurt. A one-serving tub of it has almost 20 g. protein so it’s like a few eggs or 1 scoop protein powder. I blend it with frozen fruits, or just mix with a little vanilla extract and some splenda, or even mix a little ranch dressing powder mix into it and use as dip w/ whatever veggies are in danger of going out of date. Also great for morning breakfast shake just shoving in a blender w/ some orange juice and/or w/ frozen fruits. About $1.00 per serving and no fat.

Also, you may just want to try different condiments w/ your eggs. I’ve had eggs for so many years now that the only way I can stand eggs is if I poach or scramble them (runny style) with smoked salmon on top (which was out of my budget in many years previous but is devine) or by dipping the hard boiled egg white parts in a really delicious fancy dijon mustard or fancy rasberry boutique mustard, so sue me I like my fancy expensive tasty condiments. If you really like a hot sauce or mustard or something, hard boiled eggs dipped in it can be much easier to stomach after the several-year-burnout.

Hope that helps.

Are these the standard white eggs in the grocery store?

If so it could be your problem. I was also getting nauseous eating these kinds of eggs every day, then after reading John Meadows articles, I started getting those brown shell, cage-free, worm-eating chicken eggs, and I can eat 6 of those every morning and feel fine. In fact I feel energetic after eating them.

Ya, that does. I think I’ll do the hard boiled egg. Swallow it like a fat pill.
